Hey atulya hats off to u ... I was just reading an article on caregivers and have taken care of my grandfather during his last days though not ass much as u. Its so nice of u and courageous at ur age. I always regret being away from my parents esp my mom as she lives in India and I live here. You are truly blessed to be able to take care of ur mom.
@ edabella i completely agree with u coz i have a similar background . Both my parents are professionalx who kept irregular hours and most of the times we were left in the hands of nannies and grandparents. There was a time i really hated my mom for neglecting me for her career but as i grew up i realised the sacrifices they have made in life to get where they r. They gave us the best of evrything and made us what we are today. I will always be proud of my mother . Those experiences have molded me into what i am today. And the most important thing is that she never ever made me aware of those sacrifices unlike Kamla who keeps hammering about it. The more i see Kamla the more i apprciate my mom who never forced her wishes on me . Though she really regreted my decision of not becoming a doctor like her she let me make my decision and lead my own life . She also never sacrificed her own ambitions and achieved them on her own. Thats what real loving moms are the ones who live and let live
