I kinda know how Paakhi feels because my mom didn't have much time to take care of me when I was a lot younger. She would leave me in grandma's care. There was even a time when I was livin' w/my grandparents and she wasn't taking care of me much at all. Later on, especially for a lot of my adolescence if I cried my grandma would console me and not my mom. The neglectful mother thing can have damaging effects. Like I am in my late twenties now & I am more close to my grandma than my mom. I have a soft corner for Paakhi since I kinda know where she is comin' from.
