Today's Take - Where It All Began

Today the major turning point wasn't Sumer's return ... it was the reveal of Mohini's extreme hatred and jealousy, and the reason for it.

So Dilsher went with a rishta for Mohini, the older sister, and chose to marry Mala instead. Mala got the older brother with the title to the haveli, and became jethani to her older sister. What was worse, she gave Mohini her younger brother-in-law as a charity handout ... or so Mohini felt. And Mohini's hatred and jealousy has been festering for the last twenty eight years (Diya's note - shouldn't it be 29 years? Rudra is 28 years old) ... much to the surprise, no, shock ... of Dilsher, Mala and Danveer, who really had no clue that Mohini felt this way.
Either Mohini was a very good actress all these years ... or Dilsher, Danveer and Mala are all really dumb! 😆

In all this, I liked the way Paro never obeyed Mohini's instructions to leave, but waited till Dilsher told her to go ... making it very clear to Mohini that her loyalties were with Dilsher and Mala, not with Mohini at all. And she doesn't trust Mohini an inch.
Ananya Khare is very good actress ... Mohini is pure poison! But too much of her in an episode makes it heavy and unpleasant ... hope for some lightness and PaRud sweetness tomorrow to end the week on a positive note.

In other scenes, Rudra sulked some more, prompting Paro to remark that all she has done since getting married has been to feed Rudra like a child. Yes, Paro ... we all feel the same way! The cvs have definitely been visiting this forum! 😆

Rudra may claim he hates Mala, but he can't sit and listen to her being insulted and made a tamasha of ... so he stalks off to office. Good thing he remembered he has a job ... of course, Ashish also has dance rehearsals!

In precap - Laila is back 🤢
Rudra tells her clearly that she has no place in his life. I feel that Mohini will try to repeat history by playing games with Laila, Rudra and Paro ... and that might help Rudra to finally realise how she drove the wedge between his parents.

So the story continues to unfold slowly ...

Lovely post Diya,

Crisp and well written...

Sibling rivalry, jealousy, greed for status...Mohini desired it all. But Mala always turned out to be the lucky one. After Dilsher she found an even better catch... Tejawat! 😆

Now me worries is that mangalsutra in Rudra's hand going to end up on Laila's neck😲 Lord No!

In return PaRud can teach them one very important lesson ... DON'T TRUST MOHINI 😆

Nice analysis as usual

These oldie do make the show interesting

If Rudro continue sulking and without eating he will reach hospital

Why Mala doesn't,speak she is always quite, she seems in a shock as if something unexpected is happening

Mohini was in her element today, ready to take out all the pent up frustration, but i simply couldnt feel sorry for her

Lovely take Diya...!

Mohini is poison..

I have met someone similar to mohini in my life.. only diff is that fortunately that person was not from my family so I was saved... But it is VERY HARD to deal with... HOWEVER GOOD you behave ... one small mis-understanding and they just see you as enemy... TALK BAD about you everywhere... spoil your connections which you build with so much effort.. and just give you SO much mental stress... that you can't even sleep... you have to be very THICK skinned to deal with these people.. sweet people like mala have no chance until she has a very strong support which unfortunately she didn't get from DS... Poor mala..

Sibling rivalry can be a dangerous thing ... Mohini has felt the flames for 29 years ... maybe even longer, as Mala must have been the prettier, the sweeter and the more protected and pampered of the two ... the younger sibling always is.

I hope Laila doesn't get her hahnds on the ms ... I never paid much attention to the precap. Did she see it? Why the heck didn't Rudra give it to Paro? 😡 Why must Laila lay her hands on everything that belongs to PaRud? 😡

The part about Dilsher coming to see Mohini, and marrying Mala ... I know a family personally where this happened ... the guy came to see the older, less pretty sister, liked the younger prettier one better, and asked to marry her. The parents asked the older one her opinion, she said yes, and the younger sister was really not given much choice in the matter. They are still happily married thirty years later. Very unfortunately, and completely unexpectedly, the older sister died of a brain haemorrhage just a year after this happened ... so the families believe this was all fated to happen the way it did.

Funny how fiction imitates reality ... brought back memories. The older sister was a sweetheart. What a contrast.

Thank you 😃

Yes, for once, the back story is interesting and has been well laid out. And the acting of the older generation is spot on ... although too much of Mohini in an episode makes it very heavy. That woman is so unpleasant.

Mala is still trying to take in everything, I think ... coming back after fifteen years to find so much changed ... and her beloved son as well as her older sister hating her so much ... it's a shock for her. Though why and how she never thought about how they would have felt after she left, I can't understand ... still waiting to see the real reason why she left.

I cannot even imagine someone being so poisonous an so frustrated with life, that they turn on their loved ones ... can imagine it would be SO HARD to deal with ... HOW can you hate your own flesh and blood so much?

And true ... some people, once they develop some misconceptions about certain people, they WILL NEVER see any good in them, they will twist and interpret everything in the ugliest possible manner ... even if you try to ignore them, you can't ignore the pain it gives you. Especially people who are genuinely good at heart, they will feel the worst ...
