CHAPTER 18 A

"Isse bas account ke information nikalne hai!" Nadia thought looking at the pic of the man they sent...

"Yeh... Shekhawat... sirf toh ek maamooli hotelier... fine saare five stars... phir bhi!"

"KV sirf issliye toh nahi bhejenge mujhe... there must be something more..." Nadia wracked her brain...

At the club...

"Kya re Shekhawat... wahi daroo.. wahi maal... kuch naya nahi hai kya..., waise sunna hai ki aaj kal humse kisiko mila nahi raha hai" another man asked him...

"Sahi kaha aapne... abhi tak chaar saanse nikal gayi par ab tak abse inse jaan pehchaan nahi hua... waise aapse milke ek ehsaan hi dedijiye..." a young woman with vivacious hair and killer looks glided at the table of Shekhawat... passing a breath-taking smile to him...

Shekhawat picked up the glass and surely drank his champagne... the only difference being that he forgot to put it near his lips... hence beautifully emptying the contents on his pants!

"Kya yaar! Dekh kar susu kar liya!" the other dumbstruck man told to Shekhawat

Embarrassed, trying to clean up himself when she held out a hand to him..

"Woh... aap cheez hi aise hain jo chaand ko door bhejdi... agar paas hoti toh aap ki khoobsurti ke jalan se rakh na ho jaati - to humara naam Shekhawat nahi." saying so he gripped her hand tighter

"Abbey kam*^,$%^$%,$^$" mentally ranting... "Wah... kya khoob aap kehta hai... waise chand agar paas hota toh yeh duniya khud nahi rehti... woh physics ke 9th grade textbook kehte hai... waise aap jaake kapde badal lijiye... aapka halat kuch odd hi lag raha hai!" saying she stormed off leaving a highly embarrassed Shekhawat and a rolling on the floor laughing bodyguards...

"Nads - what was that? We have to get info" Nadia looked into her msg to find one from KV

"Kyun chinta kar rahe ho" she said loudly...knowing pretty well that the person is somewhere bound to be here...

Before Shekhawat could leave the stage lit up...

"Now performing the star of the day - Nadiaaa" The DJ shouted

Shekhawat stood glued to his steps

Varun smirked

Kapoor spat the drink out "WTH" with wide open eyes

After 5 minutes the dry ice came and there she was on the dance floor

She swayed her hips sensuously... every man fell of their chairs...

Verma slapped the forehead looking at Kapoor "Kapoor tu toh gaya!"

Verma checked to get Kapoor's signals... but obviously no where in sight...

She neared Shekhawat and touched his coat...

"Good idea Nads... aaj budha waise hi marr jayega! BP ka patient hai, bas aab tu hi baaki hai kamaal dikhane ke liye" Verma chuckled.

"Aap ki husn ki koyi jawaab nahi... kya chahiye tumhe?" Shekhawat said while shamelessly ogling at her figure...

"Aap bhi na pata nahi... kab se kisi aur ke paise se yeh sab intezaam karenge..." Nadia pouted throwing Shekhawat into his dreamland

"Nads itna bhi ada mat dikha... budha ko info dene ke liye zinda bhi rakh de!" Verma laughed

"Kisne tumse yeh kaha? Arrey saare log mujhse paise lete hai... yeh ladkiaan aur security bas woh dete hai... par haan... abhi abhi ussne mujhse... Shekhawat se 5 million dollars liye hai.." Shekhawat puffed up his sleeve...

"Acha?" Nadia asked... her job was over... but she knew she had to find out more she found someone looking at her...

"Toh matlab technology ke liye obviously.. itne paise aap thodi na gilli danda ke liye de rahi hai!" Nadia smiled

While chatting with Shekhawat she closely went towards him and slipped out his phone...

"Aur nahi toh kya darling!" He smiled back

Then dry ice came in to fog in as she performed the rest of the sequence...

"Arrey... yeh ladki toh bemisaaal hai... woh wine de... kuch hi minto mai.. dekh le mere baahon main nahi aayi toh... crore de doonga usse!" Shekhawat laughed...

Nadia passed a seductive smile to Shekhawat handing him a wine glass...

While Verma just prayed prayed for Shekhawat's life... looking at Nadia's beauty , Shekhawat's life expectancy seemed less!

" Sir itne paise iss ladki pe..?" one of the body guards answered

"Kal subha zinda niklgi tabhi toh cash transfer hoga! Paise haath main doonga aur subha waapas bhi lavunga! Yeh aam ladki nahi hai... yeh koi und" he sipped his wine

"Kapoor abhi ke abhi aa... something is wrong..." Verma said as suddenly clicked in mind

"Verma ab! Nadia on stage! U forgot!!!!" Kapoor was practically jumping n excitement.

"Don't we share the same device? So Kapoor... didn't just Nadia ask to meet!" Verma glared through the communicator

"Nadia asked zaroor... par after 5 minutes... pakka waise I got some information too... wait I'm coming!" Kapoor said

"Yeh to ek unde... eer...er..c..." Shekhawat started spluttering when he felt short of breath... and he felt down catching his breath... "wo..wo.h..lad..ladk.."

"Chalo.. abhi issi waqt uss ladki ko dhoondne... " one of the men said while the others ran behind her.. while the other ran for a doctor...

One of the people around dialed... "Hello, ETF?"...

"Verma - Nadia in danger...people around" Kapoor texted.

Verma took notice of a hooded person... Verma frowned...

Verma immediately darted off towards towards the back door exit... not before doing something.. "Kappy yaar... just please koi hoshiyaari mat dikhana!" Verma silently prayed...

Nadia was running , yeah she anticipated long before that someone is behind her...

But she had to meet KV... something was amiss... she noticed someone else looking at her features... the money transferred... when she felt a presence behind... she was about to turn

"Don't turn Nads.. it's KV..." Verma replied.

Nadia's eyes were wide...

"Tell me what's the information you got..." Verma ordered

"Apart from Shekhawat koi aur bhi tha jo mujhe dekh raha tha... am positive... aur koi sunn bhi raha tha... I could feel his malicious intent... pata hai it sounds funny and not apt from an undercover agent par haan meri instincts are saying koi aur..." Nadia started

"That's fine... aise kaam pe instincts bhi kaam karta hai... next?" Verma asked getting impulsive...

"The money transferred... dollars mai kaha... rupees main nahi... matlab jisko paise diye hai woh shayad kissi American based product ko le rahe ... ammunition nahi ho sakti... kuch aur shayad... maybe kuch gadget, technology, Shekhawat confirmed... par ek drug lord..." Nadia was saying

"Tumhe kaise pata ki woh ek drug lord ke liye kaam kar raha hai" Verma enquired

"Ek hotelier... itna paisa.. sudden dealing in dollars - main bewakoof nahi hoon... par kis ke liye woh deal karta hai.." Nadia contemplated

"That's none of your business Nads..." Verma interrupted... suddenly turning aside an information came..

"Nadia.. run away right now... aur kya tumne kuch milaya tha Shekhawat ke drink pe..?" Verma asked suddenly... puzzling Nadia

"Nahi KV... mai keh rahi koi aur.." before she could complete a rod hit her head...

Well that's what she thought to see the man rather men sprawling on the floor cringing with pain...

She turned back to see KV missing!

A small self destructive message beeped " Nads more people in front.. u can handle them... gotto go... tumhari information ne kuch diya abhi ke abhi... try to leave asap.. ETF calling."

Then the message disappeared from her cell... strange!

Few men came in front of her... all bodyguards "Yahi ladki!" one barked

"Yaar... yeh toh ek phataka hai... pehle humaare liye kyun nahi istemaal karte!" one of the other men growled taking slow steps towards Nadia

"Acha kiya iraada bataa diya warna main bhi soch rahi thi ki teen char laath se chod doon." she smirked and kicked right across their faces..

After 5 minutes one was on the floor crying, the other one's head was in a pothole, the third one was knocked unconscious and the fourth one was begging for mercy...

Suddenly her phone rang...

" Ha Sakshi bolo..." Nadia... naa. Ayesha spoke trying to calm her nerves..

"Kaha ho tum? Hum log club Blue par pohoch chuke hai.. (don't know if it exists) main kabse tumhe call kar rahi hoon..." Sakshi said annoyed

"What the! Yeh log yaha.. oh God..." her mind blasted "Haa main abhi aayi... five minutes main..." she replied and cut the call... her fingers trembled out of nervousness... her house was atleast half an hour away... Sakshi and team were just few minutes from Club Blue...

She tried to go back thinking what to do.. she's stuck!

Then she saw a packet down

It was a pair of formal clothes and make up remover!

She smiled and went to the washroom as Nadia and out came Ayesha...

She was waiting for ETF to reach...

"Sakshi Ayesha yaha kab se hai! Tum kya keh rahi thi ki late aayegi!" Arjun asked annoyed

" Hmm" Sakshi said and just straight walked towards the club notifying the people around.

Arjun was amazed... he expected a reply or a back answer with a face... "Kuch toh choot raha hai..." he grumbled angrily and stormed inside...

"Ayesha yeh SRK aur Asha Parekh ko kya hua?" Chotu asked Ayesha

"Uff Chotu... timeframe to theek rakh... SRK ke saath Kajol ya toh Deepika ache lagte hain... Asha Parekhji ke saath swarge Rajesh Khannaji ache lagte hai!" Liza slapped Chotu's arm and walked inside the club...

"Haila! Yeh Liza ko Shree se pyaar hua rey!" Chotu exclaimed

"Hein? Yeh kya keh rahe ho Chotu... sahi toh kaha Liza ne.. yeh Shree kaha se aagaya!" Ayesha exclaimed when she saw the waiter looking at her time and again!

"Kahi usne mujhe pehchan liya!" she thought "Damn it!" she said

"Haila!" Chotu stared at Ayesha... as she walked inside the club leaving a puzzled Chotu.

"Hai bhagvaan.. Sakshi tu sach keh rahi thi... duniya ka fourth universal fact... yeh pyaar main log ek cheez hi bolte hai... abhi abhi Ayesha ne damn it bola aur Liza ne Shree ka dialogue bola - woh bhi ditto! Iska matlab Liza phasli re phasli!" Chotu thought and joined the others in the club.

"Yeh to Club blue hai... apart from being Mumbai ka number one club yeh toh famous hai notorius cheezein ke liye... for example drugs, rave party, smuggling..." Sakshi informed.

"Miss. Sakshi Anand... tumhe toh inn cheezon ki bohot jaankari hai... other than what we already know kya kuch naya keh sakti ho?" Arjun sarcastically posed...

"Arjun let me complete - yaha par drug lords ke kaafi log aate hai... aur according to me yeh aadmi jo abhi mara hua hai - he is one of the support for drug lords.. waise toh yeh khaas 5 star hotels ke owner hai..." she said... snubbing Arjun off.

Arjun, if possible would have wanted to explode at Sakshi...

"Shekhawat is dead!" Ayesha exclaimed, looking at the dead body below... "How!"

Then he looked around... at the wine glass...

Ayesha breathing stopped... she had passed him the drink... the glass would have her finger print... every body over here would recognize her... the cameras would have her in there...

"Liza iss glass ko check karo, pehle dekho ki iske mauth kaise hua, glass pe koi fingerprint zaroor milega... aur Chotu check the cctv!" Arjun asked and Ayesha felt she would pass out any second...

Sakshi looked at Ayesha's face turning pale "Ayesha... kya hua... Sam bhai ko miss kar rahi ho kya?" she patted Ayesha slowly..

"Oh I so wish Sam yaha hota.. chup chap uske bahon main rehti aur sab se bach jati... agar Arjun sir ko pata chal gaya ki main unofficial undercover pe gayi hoon then I will be sacked... Sam..." Ayesha just feebly nodded

"Sakshi kya hum iss case main concentrate kar sake, aur kisi ki personal life ke baare main na jaan sake?" Arjun scowled at her.

"Toh tum kaam do Arjun.. as of now you have only assigned Liza and Chotu... mujhe kya karna hoga you didn't say, and tume pasand nahi agar mai koi kaam tumhare permission ke alava kuch karoon." Sakshi replied curtly

It burned him... for the past two months she was being... uh.. forget it!

Just then Chotu came back with the CCTV tape and Liza too came back

"Sir" both said

"Sir uss CCTV main ek ajeeb baat hai!" Chotu said and Ayesha just prayed silently.

"Aur sir fingerprints bhi weird hai!" Liza said.

Ayesha just sat down... she knew that her cover is blown up...

Arjun just saw the recording and read the forensic report...

"What?" Arjun exclaimed...

Ayesha buried her head in her hands...

CHAPTER 18B

"Aur sir fingerprints bhi weird hai!" Liza said.

Ayesha just sat down... she knew that her cover is blown up...

Arjun just saw the recording and read the forensic report...

"What?" is all he could say...

Ayesha buried her head in her hands...

The cctv showed that Shekhawat had a drink and fell down... the report showed that he had a heart attack... there was no sign of Nadia... and there were no finger prints either...

Ayesha gaped at the screen... and a self destructive message came on her phone

"nice job eh? got ir clothes on time as well! kv "

Ayesha's gape just turned into a shocked face... true... kv would never let anything happen to their uc's ... she just stared in amazement!

"Bhao... aapne khud tapkadiya?" a middle aged man called Thapar said

"Haha... waise Shekhawat bhi pakka khiladi hai... ladki ko dekh khe pata chal gaya ki undercover hai! Details nikaalo!" He said

"Bhao... saare jageh pe chaan maara... koi details nahi..." Thapar informed

"Kya?" He frowned...

"Waise aapne kyun tapkaya?" Thapar asked

"Gadha... ek ladki ko dekh ke phisal gaya... haa ladki thi crore main ek... chehra pata nahi kahi dekha hai... par itni make up lagayi thi... chod do.. waise iss ladki ko aise hi kehdia ke humne 5 million dollars ke transfer kiya... aur Thapar chinta mat kar... saare paise uske ghar ke ek secret safe main hai - hum le lenge." He laughed

"Kya baat hai bhao!" Thapar laughed along

"Kapoor where the hell were you!" Verma barked the minute Kapoor came flying in.

"Holy... Verma's angry." Kapoor thought "Listen I know that mujhe yaha bohot pehle aana chahiye tha... par sun... woh Shekhawat mar gaya..." Kapoor explained..

"Hmmm... I thought as much.." "Let's go to his office room abhi.." Verma said and both climbed two floors to reach the office room of Shekhawat's mansion.

"Baath hai ki koi teesra aadmi tha uske peeche." Kapoor said

Verma looked, the eyes said everything...

"Haan... voh... aur ek gadha waiter ne darr se ETF ko waha bulaya tha!" Kapoor said as they reached the office.

"Hmm.. here are his bank statements and documents related." Kapoor handed over

"Though yaar mujhe ek stuff... like I know ki usne abhi abhi dollars main transact kiya hai... par hum dono uspe focus kyun kar rahe hai... i know what he did was odd..." Kapoor thought loud.

Verma read through the statements when suddenly "Kappy... get out of this house.. abhi issi waqt... yeh ghar jitni jaldi toot jaye behtar... and we need to reach HQ asap"

Kapoor's eyes widened in shock... gripping Verma's hand they both jumped out of the house and walked away...

"Don't worry Verma... I've taken care of it..." Kapoor said as they sat on the bike... the minute they left the house blasted...

Verma ran in the minute they reached their head quarters...

Quickly scanning over all files and gadgets... Verma felt a wave of nausea come through... dizziness...

Kapoor quickly came and caught a faltering Verma... sprinkling water "Verma... kya hua!"

"Kappy... hell!, They were worth 5 million dollars... made by the same American company Shekhawat paid for.. Lionex, sh**, the blue copies... test drives.. hell the..." Verma screamed looking at the devices again.

"Dude kya hua?" Kappy tensed and not understanding a word of what Verma said.

"My gadget ki blueprint, my technology... the damn thing in which ETF is running on... it's stolen... " Verma shouted

"*^%^*&!@" Kapoor exclaimed

Five months after Sam and Shree are at Delhi, a month after Shekhawat's case

At Arjun's cabin

Arjun was reading on evidences... the ones he had collected... on him... he threw his pen frustratedly as he came back to a dead end... if there was only a glimmer of light... of hope some-where... at one point... six months back he had received tips from two of his most trusted informers... till now none had responded with new information... only one gave an information 6 weeks back... but then it asked to never contact back...

Back to square one... after three years...

Shekhawat's case had been handed over to the CIB.. cause it was nothing major for the ETF to do... induced heart attack... simple... so for now there was a break for a while... he tried to collect information... he barely had an inkling that Shekhawat's case had the man's hand in it for whom he was tirelessly searching

He just closed his eyes and rested his throbbing head on the desk.

Someone knocked on the door... "Come in" he ordered... he knew it would be Sakshi with his cutting chai.. somehow she got to know when he would need one...

He looked up to find the peon giving him the cup of chai! This damn thing was happening for the past one month... over that his dizziness...

"Nahi chahiye!" he gritted his teeth

"Par sahab.." now how would he say that from the other side Sakshi ma'am has warned him to give the chai else he will loose his job!

"Tumhe tumhari naukri pyaari hai na kaka... aapse aise baat nahi karni mujhe.. aap yaha se jayye aur yeh chai bhi leke jayye!" Arjun scowled at the peon

"Hey prabhu yeh kaha fasadiya? Ek taraf Sakshi betiya aur doosri taraf!" the peon looked helplessly around

Arjun understood and said "Theek hai kaka.. aap jayye... chai ko yaha rehne dijiye..." seeing the door open he practically shouted "aur jisko koi kaam khud na kar sake woh doosro ko na dhamka ke kare!" Sakshi swiftly turned to see his seething eyes on her.

"Aap jaake Sakshi ko yaha bulaye... kaho ke ek important case ke evidence chahiye..." Arjun sent the peon off...

Sakshi came in two minutes later " Arjun this better be important" she said, then her eyes went on the file on his table Sikandar...she winced at that name as painful memories erupted...

Arjun too busy to notice her shift of expression said gruffly "Woh Shekhawat waala jo case tha.. uski evidences kya hai yeh batao."

"Par woh case to CBI.."

"Jitna kaha hai bolo..." Arjun shot at her

Sakshi told him whatever the team had gathered... Arjun had just simply said that... his mind was boiling with rage...

Nowadays she totally avoided him... during case briefings she would just put her inputs... she would leave home with either Chotu, Liza or Ayesha.. in short any one but him.. his cutting chai and lunch would reach on time but always by the peon... she never volunteered to go with him to any case investigation... if she was with him, once in a blue moon that is, she would just keep quiet... however with the rest of the people she was exactly the same!

Well he did want her to stop pestering him... but not like this... not to behave as if a fly would have more importance than him...

"Arjun... ARJUN.." Sakshi called him for the fifth time... "I am done.. I am leaving."

"Itni jaldi bhi kya hai... phirse soch rahi ho na Arjun se kaise door raha jayye?" he said sarcastically...

"Nahi.. maine aisa kab behave kiya, waise bhi ajeeb harkate tum subha se kar rahe ho, coffee maang rahe ho.. chilla rahe ho! Main theek hoon." she said, totally caught off guard!

"Jhoot tumhari kamzori hai Sakshi... don't even try, tum theek nahi ho" he growled

"Agar tumhara natak hogaya Arjun.. I have to leave.. tumhari inn bakwaas baaton ke liye waqt nahi hai." she said and was about to walk of

"Ya right... suddenly aaj kal tum main ek kaam karne ka bhoot savaar hai! Tumhe to kissi bhi baat pe farak nahi hota! Especially if that includes me... Wait indifference toh meri trait thi... tum yeh kabse adopt karne lagi ho?" Arjun said coldly

" One thing you are right about is that mujhe kissi bhi paat pe farak nahi padta... mujhe bohot kaam hai." saying so Sakshi was about to go

"Sakshi.. kya baat hai.. tum bohot alag behave kar rahi ho aaj kal, koi mil gaya kya?" he said angrily

"None of your business." she curtly replied

"Whatever... none of my business... tumhe kissi cheez pe farak nahi.. toh aaj jab main coffin main atak gaya tha... toh tumhari saanse kyun tham gayi... Arjun Arjun kehke kyun chilaa rahi thi... phir u hugged me as if never to leave me.. yeh baat bhool gayi ki tumhari yeh new ego of not speaking to me... yeh sab kya tha? Natak?" he spat out in rage

"No way!" she shot back

"Toh kya tha... farak parta hai... right?" he said...slowly but with anger...

Sakshi just stood tongue-tied... she had seen the file and realized the reason why he is tensed... but how should she answer these questions? When she knew that all she wanted was to be in his arms and all she could do is run away from them!

She turned and walked towards the door... baffling Arjun!

Arjun got up from his chair and caught her wrist... pulling her to him.. "Ignore mat karro Sakshi!" he spoke in a deathly voice

Seeing her trembling and reddening face, he led out a soft chuckle "Sakshi tum try bhi karo you can't ignore me. You are affected by me" he spoke in a steeled voice

"Nahi... tum raho ya nahi mujhe koi farak nahi parta." she shot back... praying her voice doesn't give her away

"Really.." he sniggered

"Haan" she said.. "hey Gannu ji... kisi bhi waqt mere paer fisal sakte hai" she thought helplessly

"Dekhte hain" he huskily spoke and pinned her to the wall... coming dangerously close.

"Abhi nahi?" he glared at her... tightening a painful grip on her wrist...

Their bodies were touching each other... there was barely a gap left... his one hand was placed on the wall while the other one held her wrist behind her back... she shuddered... he smirked at that... immense friction and sparks were flying in and out of their bodies... the little distance left did little good to their weak senses at the moment...

Her dew drop scent... her beautiful eyes... her quickening of breath... the crimson color of her cheeks... her perky nose , his gaze shifted lower to her perfect shaped pouty pink lips... her little chin... oh God she was a beauty... he could see the pulse throbbing on the side of her neck.. but one thing that begged his attention were her pink lips... especially when she licked them with her tongue.. it glistened in moisture...her palm softly cupped his cheek... his reigns felt loose and he bent forward to taste her cherry like lips... snaking the other hand around her waist...

She on the other hand could barely look up... she just glanced up to see him looking at her with immense passion and maybe... lo... no.. that's not possible , but her eyes failed to look down now they were stuck with his... his intense eyes... it burned through her pretense... his eyebrows knitted together as he searched her eyes... his sharp nose... the chiseled jaws.. his temples were throbbing... she couldn't take this tension...she licked her dry lips... she raised her free hand and cupped his cheek... trying to soothe the tension... hoping he would understand... instead he snaked his hand around her waist... her breath hitched...

Sensations shot up their body... her eyes closed as he came close... his breath fanned on her skin... he clutched her waist and he closed his eyes... he was just going to close the distance when his phone rang...

Her eyes shot open... his eyes too were wide open... his lips were parted... hers too... their breaths mingled... their lips almost touching ... they looked into each other's eyes... his phone rang again breaking the trance...

Sakshi immediately pushed Arjun away and stumbled out of the cabin... leaving Arjun startled and confused...

It was a spam call...

"What the HELL was I about to do!" his mind roared! "HELL" his mind raged, he banged his fist onto the wall... tearing the skin at his knuckles

At that precise moment he heard Sakshi's scream... he ran out to see Sakshi's hand bleeding as a broken glass had accidentally pierced her hand... he went to her and held her hand and quickly removed the piece, blood was oozing.. but the minute that was done Sakshi ran out of the building muttering a quick "thank you".

He simply stared at her, oblivious of the the blood coming out of his own knuckles... he stormed towards the parking lot...

However their blood drops remained there... one with the other... one couldn't know where was his blood or where was hers...
