Though many statements and gestures are made to show the solidarity between India and Pakistan, the element of rivalry and 'anti' feeling always exists. But it does come as a surprise when we hear that one of our Telugu directors has begun getting fans from the neighbouring country.

He is none other than Ram Gopal Varma. Few months ago, RGV was seen praising Bilal Lashari, a Pakistani film director who made the film Waar. Even Bilal also reciprocated to RGV's gestures. In the latest incident, RGV praised Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam and that caught attention.

All said and done, he is the only celebrity in India who can appreciate Pakistani fraternity and still get away with it. Now, all this is turning a blessing in disguise for RGV because reports say that even Pakistanis are also becoming his fans. This is something unexpected and unusual.
