The court trials and investigation process in BV are as silly as it gets.
They can avoid bloopers if they do some research and only if they want to show things realistically. Even for daily soaps, they must have time at their disposal if they plan tracks wisely. It is not like they have to write story today for what will be shown in tomorrow's episode. There is lack of sincerity and sometimes even disregard of rules of the land on the part of creatives.
What stops them to show police investigation, proper arguments in court or even a free symbol to their independent candidate? I do not think there is any compulsion here.
