Episode starts with VC praising Kumud for stopping the closure of the school but she gives all the credit to Saras. Dugbaa says that Saras and Kumud cannot be disassociated and together they are bound to succeed.
Saras and Kumud look at each other fondly. Anoushka is also felicitated for her brilliant idea for sensitizing the children and kids. The lively girl is all happy and tells Kumud that he will brief her about Mumbai since she is going there. Just then Saras gets a call. He will be leaving for Mumbai the next day. Saras notices that Kumud doesn't look much happy.
In the room, Kumud is all tensed. Saras comes to her and reassures her that it is fine if she doesn't go with him and promises to come back soon. He takes her in his arms.
Kabir is looking for Anoushka the BakBak Kumari and he hurt his foot . Anoushka is on the phone and her slipper is broken. They meet in the corridor, both are limping and both glare at each other telling each names thinking that they are imitating each other and move away. Saras is amused to see both limping and asks Kabir what is going on. He is more amused listening to an annoyed Kabir taunting Anoushka.
Finally when BakBak Kumari comes in the living room and realizes that Kabir was not making fun of her but had hurt his foot. They start fighting for the nth time. Danny comes with Anoushka's repaired slipper. Kabir realizes that Anoushka was not copying him. He tries to say sorry but she goes away with attitude annoying Kabir more.
Saras and Kumud are in their room. Maharani is sad and Saras comes to her. He again says he will be come back soon.
Kumud: Will you be able to live away from me?
Saras: And you?
Kumud is silent. Saras tells her that somebody told him that it was not necessary to stay together to be together and God keep them away to get them closer.
In the morning Saras is leaving. The family is bidding him good bye but Kumud is still not there. Saras keeps looking for her but...
The family is teasing him. Aren't you forgetting your precious luggage? How will you stay there without this precious thing? They asked.
Masterni comes all decked up to accompany her husband. SHE CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT HER SARAS. Danny tells Saras that Kumud's luggage is already in the car. Saras is happy.
SaMud have left and the family is waiting for their call impatiently. Mr and Mrs Saraswatichandra have already landed in Mumbai.
Anoushka is telling the family what an amazing town Mumbai is! The Desais are impressed.
