Bani is only a reflection of AD's past.

Hi guys,

Having seen the past five –six episodes, thanks to occupational hazards, what I have observed is that basically, AD and Bani are bound by the common thread of pain – a pain for which they both hold Jai responsible ( he may or may not be responsible since AD's past with him is still a mystery). What holds them together is their motive and a "betrayal" by Jai. Love is definitely not there……

From what is indicated, it seems that AD was deeply in love with somebody in the past who passed away rather tragically and that perhaps is the greatest loss of his life for which he holds Jai responsible. And now, in Bani/Durga (Can you stick to one name for your heroine Kekta darling)……he is seeing HIS DEAD LADY LOVE. And if that wasn't enough, AD's mother is taking full wholesale Summer offer advantage of his one weakness. She is hell-bent on playing the match-maker. Why doesn't she understand that her son is not falling in love with Bani or Durga… he is falling in love with a reflection, a mirage which is neither true nor will it ever be his.

Somewhere even AD knows that Bani does not belong to him, she loves Jai and mind you, AD knows that and this is the reason he keeps testing Bani on that account… only Durga does and Durga is just a revenge tool.

Perhaps, the true love of AD's life was a lot like Bani – sweet, innocent, spirited, loving and a harmless girl next-door. Bani reminds him of that lost love and that is why he is both moved and confused. This doesn't mean that he "loves" Bani". Remember what AD's Mom told him on her match-making session that "The one you love has come back in the form of Durga …. Durga is her". It clearly means that the one AD loved and lost was a replica of Bani.

AD knows all this very well and subconsciously knows that no matter how much venom and hatred he fills inside Bani, her heart beats and will always beat for Jai Walia.And as for him, he will forever be in love with the one who is gone now….. and even if he falls for our girl, she'll only be a resurrection of his dead lady love and a second one.

I can't really explain the AD-Bani connection, though I believe that their relationship has moved a little beyond being just a symbiotic revenge deal. But yes, both of them have lost the ones they loved truly – AD lost his love to a tragedy while Bani lost Jai to reptile Pia and some of Jai's weaknesses. They both are so conked off emotionally that they really don't have anything to give each-other.

For Bani, AD will always be her saviour , her mentor … somebody she will always look up to with respect and gratitude…..😛

And for AD, Bani will always be a reflection of what he has lost …..😭

I seriously hope they both find the ones they love. Let Bani go to Jai because he is her soulmate and let AD find somebody who loves him and only him.

Yap, AD is softening on Bani but we really cant say if he loves her...BUt this Sasu ma of his is hell bent on making it love...she needs to understand that she is preparing him for one more disappointment by pushing him to Bani...And Bani clearly says she is not interest and AD realises that.

u know dear u deserve a bear hug for this post..very well written and aptly summed up the whole chemistry story..yes remember the tulsi scene he is actually moving towards his past.....as for sasuma she sure is in the mood for shopping for her jeet 😡

Hope MIL realises this or rather JW swips Bani away off her feet before MIL or Pia can do anything about it.

Great post. You cracked me up with the summer wholesale comment. Too good. Yes for Bani it will be always Jai and I think that is one of the reasons we love her character so much.
