Good question.

Magazine's photos are photoshopped to expert level. So every inch of the body is beautifully shown. Girl doesn't need to worry too much about how good she would look. For e.g. Dabboo Ratnani. When he clicks their photos, its for sure that every photo will come out excellent. So every lead actress is ready to strip down for his calendar.

We have seen minimal clothing in movies as well.

^^ the actresses decided to become bomb rather then getting hit by sanskaar attack 😆
