Can BOLLYWOOD remake MALEFICENT? ANGELINA delivers $70+ MILLION GROSS

😉😲 ANGELINA JOLIE amazes me with her movies. After 3 1/2 years away from the big screen, she generates a $70 million opening in one weekend. DISNEY backed her up and this project is close to $200 million. The movie will break even. Can you imagine any BOLLYWOOD heroine doing MALEFICENT? Much less a 10 crore opening, $70 million is mindboggling. That is even bigger than any Rajnikanth or Khan movie. Go ANGELINA! Please share your thoughts. Can BOLLYWOOD remake MALEFICENT with a top line heroine generating a #1 opening? 😳

A good script does wonders at the BO for a heroine.. Vidya in Kahaani, Kangana in Queen.
There is more quality cinema being made now, before it was just all Masala cuz thats what made the most money.
I think change is happening, slowly, but surely!

Ok enough fangirling. 😆 I don't think that genre would work in BW right now. I mean how much movies geared towards young adults in the fantasy genre actually work?! The shouldn't do a remake but come of with original stories from tradtional folklore.

PS: Way to go Angie and girl power b/c even HW has an effin' glass celing and it's 2014. I mean I can't believe HW even toda is hesitant in female-centric films not delivering when Angie has done in Tomb Raider/Salt, Sandra in The Heat, and so many others.
