Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has signed in for a plum project based on a women-oriented subject. Read on.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha who garnered positive reviews for her performance in "Lootera" and is now gearing up for the release of "Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty", says she has recently signed a new project, which is women-oriented.

"I have now signed a new film which has a women-oriented subject. I am quite excited about that project, but I'm not allowed to talk about it till the producers make an official announcement," Sonakshi told IANS.

Asked if the movie is a remake of a southern film, she said: "Wait till the announcement."


The actress says she received varied offers after her strong performance in "Lootera".

"I was approached for many films post 'Lootera', but I didn't feel strongly about them. 'Lootera' was written for me, but the other offers that I got post 'Lootera' were not convincing," she said.

Her new movie "Holiday", directed by A.R. Murugadoss, features Akshay Kumar as the male lead.

I'm wondering which movies she was approached for and she rejected????? . If BM or Shudhi were one of them,I will kill her 😡.

The first 2 were decent roles. 2nd one being the title role. I didn't mind if she refused AJ & Holiday for them 😆

But yeah she had signed Tevar, AJ & Holiday much before Lootera released. Now let's hope her choices are great from now on

what I know is that the production of the first one wasn't that big...and every actor who was supposed to do it ended up rejecting it...so I'm not sorry for that...plus she was supposed to do a role of an old woman I think...and I don't like that, even if the role was meaty 😆.
This women oriented one will be action and thriller as I know😲...It's good that she is experimenting new things...And just I hope that she will not sign any masala movie for 2 years at least...

Well guess what I don't LIKE women oriented movies. Are they all trying to say women more precious than men?
