Deepika Padukone fans disappointed over response to Kochadaiyaan

After three back-to-back hits in 2013, people were there were huge expectations from Deepika Padukone's first release in 2014 - Kochadaiyaan. Especially because it starred the Thalaiya. However the film has crashed and burned. Her fans felt that the animated version of Dips looked more like someone from planet of the apes! Industry watchers who were keen to see if she would repeat her hattrick this year are disappointed that she became out with the first one itself. Now all eyes are on her next Finding Fanny Fernandes with Arjun Kapoor and Happy New Year with Shah Rukh Khan. And didn't SRK famously say, 'Haar ke jeetne wale ko bazigaar kehte hain'?

Kochadiyaan won't affect her much apart from some online jokes, but she better have a meaty role in HNY if the editing reports about FFF is true. Anyways, 2015 should be good for her with BM, Piku and Tamasha.

It won't affect her much. First of all, it wasn't a bollywood movie. Second, it was all about Rajnikanth. Like robot didn't help Aishwarya's career same this won't affect Deepika's career.

If konchadiya wont effect deepikas career , as its rajnees movie and rajni is star in it than HNY wont help deepikas career either . As there srk is star . Now all hopes are on finding frenny fernendies which is a low budget english konkani movie. Over all this she even rejected kick item number which has chances of being chartbuster . And being on audience mind throughout the year.

Deepika has the much anticipated HNY in her kitty, Piku, BM, FFF..these are such amazing projects. After CE, their pair is much more awaited.

CE had SRK too, but people ended up praising Deepika more than Shahrukh. I think a star being in the film doesn't matter now, heroines have started having their share of meaty roles too.

Agree .. it was reply to comment that said konchadiya wont effect deepikas career. Its already effecting this article is proof of that. Might not be in a major way. But its certainly effecting. Like how its said in bollywood. Here actor actress are as good as there last movie. The positive point here is , Kochadaiiyaan isnt a proper bollywood movie. So she might get concession. But even her next movie isnt a hindi movie either.

Kochadiyan may ruin Rajnikanth's stardom not Deepika's... It was touted as his movie n if it is not doing business as expected then it will be his loss tooo.. It hardly matters to Deepika... She has tooo many important projects ahead of her to give importance to this movi's success ya failure...
