Honestly it's really hard for all these ladies to get back in the game again. They all had their time and now the generation has moved on.

But as a die hard Rani fan, I have a lot of expectations for Mardaani and from the poster the film looks very promising. So fingers crossed.

The quality and body of work of these three actresses are yet to be matched by today's actresses, the so called 100 crore princesses and their flower pot roles. They stood toe to toe with the heros in even the most masala of movies. Even so called glamour doll Ash has movies that showcase the fine actress that she is.

Give me a movie by Rani, Kajol and Ash any day over the current lot.

Kajol come back always proved to be successful, so I am hoping same for this. Aish is still in demand. I feel Aish and Kajol can change the whole game. Rani is an amazing actress and if Mardaani will be good then she can make her come back too.

I have lot of hope from all three. Rani has Yash raj to back her up now and with that she immense talent so that will help her. Aish has Beauty, style, khans are still willing to work with her, and of course talent and star power as well. Kajol has charm, a lot of talent, khans are willing to work with her and star power so basically this all will work in their favor.

And I hope it does, these three actresses are capable of giving competition to all.

Mardaani is only one that can be taken seriously

And yet it is barely a comeback. Rani was off screen for just about a year and half.

I liked Mardaani's first look. Here's hoping she delivers this time.

Take Fanaa & My Name Is Khan. Kajol had very limited amount of contribution towards their success. Both film which struggled a bit to get HIT status at Box Office. & I still don't understand why and how she bagged best Actress ONLY at filmfare 😆😆😆

Well at least khans are willing to work with her and even now! We can't say the same about other senior heroines. Aamir khan casted her in fanaa. At that time priyanka Kareena were at their peak so why he went for kajol? Probably because he saw something special in her! Again he offered her 3 idiots but she rejected that's another story!

Same goes for Srk why he and Karan went for kajol? I think kajol got awards for fanaa from all award fuctions! And I am glad flimfare acknowledge kajol for mnik I mean can you believe it other so called prestigious awards were given to katrina kaif for her performance in rajneeti when clearly kajol deserved it more than her!

Yeah Maybe kajol come back flims success were not totally dependent on her but khans were and are willing to work with her, producers are ready to cast her! I can't say same about others! Whether some people like it or don't, kajol is still in demand

Shahrukh & Aamir both outshined Kajol in MNIK & Fanaa respectively.

Sridevi was able to carry herself really well without any Khans or Kapoors. She made an amazing comeback, something that not even Madhuri could do. I loved GG personally, but unfortunately it didn't do well & Juhi was the one who outshined Madhuri.

Truth is today no one really cares much about Karisma, Kajol, Rani, Preity, Sridevi, Juhi, Madhuri, etc. It's sad because these actress knew the form and talent of acting. Today the whole meaning of acting is on a whole new level.

I'll put my fandom aside that I have rode Kajol and Ash.. And as an unbiased person what I'll say is... Any of them can do it, it really depends on the content

Sorry I completely disagree.

These actresses have SOLID fan bases and their fans still stand by them even today. Fans will be always loyal. Such as yourself, you're a loyal Rani fan, and believe me there are MANY others like you. Look at the attention and fame of Aishwarya for example, not even Deepika or Katrina is close to that (not talking about hits)

The reason why these actresses cannot sustain themselves is because there is a huge lack of support from the industry. There are very FEW movies, roles and opportunities for them. THATS the problem! If the industry tries even 20% to support them, I am damn sure the audience will follow.

Sridevi and Kajol are the only ones who have had successful comebacks. More so Sridevi because she didn't star opposite a big hero. So IT IS possible.
