We know what happened to Aaiyyaa... It was also considered to be some masterpiece and something that will bring Rani in game ... But it turned nothing but crap!

I think Aish can still make BO ringing! Her beauty and charm still mesmerise hundred of people and she can surely be successful in her comeback!

These actresses have SOLID fan bases and their fans still stand by them even today. Fans will be always loyal. Such as yourself, you're a loyal Rani fan, and believe me there are MANY others like you. Look at the attention and fame of Aishwarya for example, not even Deepika or Katrina is close to that (not talking about hits)

The reason why these actresses cannot sustain themselves is because there is a huge lack of support from the industry. There are very FEW movies, roles and opportunities for them. THATS the problem! If the industry tries even 20% to support them, I am damn sure the audience will follow.

Sridevi and Kajol are the only ones who have had successful comebacks. More so Sridevi because she didn't star opposite a big hero. So IT IS possible.

EV was success only because it was pitch perfect! The film got only 1.5 crore in it a opening day and it was later well received by audience because it had perfect script, great performance! Unforunately women centric films are hit only when it is good in everything!

Yes I agree that those actress have solid fan base but it doesn't automatically translate into nation-wide acceptance! In that way Barun Sobti has solid fan base...

Also people need to accept them! Audience should love them only then producers try to invest on them! Fact is everyone loves money and a person wouldn't try to invest in something that will lead to loss! If producers get re-assurance that these actresses are bankable then they will definitely make more movies on them

Kajol is very much a star and has immense face value. Ash for all the media hype, has never proven her stardom at the box office and Rani who?

I think it all depends on the movies themselves.

Wish Ash would begin filming Mani's film first but it seems that film has been delayed.

Actually Kajol has a chance because she's hyped for that whole down to earth, SRK love bird image.

However the media it will be Aishwaryia. If she is back into shape like her dhoom 2 days, which I am thinking since this film is action.

Than yeah her.

The one who picks the better film content wise, whose film has good promotions, and trailers/songs.

Mardaani releases a week after Singham 2. Bad release timing, but I guess it is not catering to the same audience.
