At Poruvazhy Peruviruthy Malanada Temple in Kerala's Kollam district, Duryodhana is worshipped as the main deity. It is the only temple in South India, where a Kaurava is considered a God, this is considered injustice by Hindus towards Krishna and his devotees, as Duryodhana was a villain in the great epic.[2]
In Kumaon region of Uttranchal, several beautifully carved temples are dedicated to Duryodhana and he is worshipped as a minor deity. The mountain tribes of Kumaon fought along with Duryodhana armies in the Mahbhrata war; he was venerated as a capable and generous administrator.
Not sure what to say about this article most of what is mentioned is correct except karma not being at the court and krsihna ji playing a part in taking away karna's kavach and kundal but most of what Krishna ji did was to win the war for pandavs who had been wronged by kauravs their whole life .Dont see anything wrong in that.
Even if one doesn't view Krishna ji as a god one should appreciate his political and strategic mind. He wanted pandavas to win the war at any cost to get their justice and came up with strategies to ensure that .Yes some strategies did break rules of the war and may seem unfair but who didn't break rules of the war even kauravas did. Krishna ji was intelligent enough to come up with strategies to win the war kauravas weren't so why should he be blamed for that
The only thing that Krishna ji does that raises my eyebrow is his reaction after gatotkacha's death. Yes I agree killing gatotkacha was important to save arjuna but still his reaction after that and the way he explains it to arjuna doesn't go down well with me .I mean gatotkacha really helps pandavs during their exile.I understand Krishna ji really cared about arjuna and wanted him to be saved at any cost but still his reaction after gatatokacha's death shows no remorse. Infact he is happy that now arjuna is saved. Just seems a little harsh. But other than that I understand why Krishna ji does what he does
