Time had taken wings for geet. It felt as if finally god has spread its care on her and blessed her with all the happiness in world. It had been long since she felt so much happy, that it felt an illusion to her. And the credit goes to just a single person who had come as an angel and saved her from all the hardship and difficulties of life. Or may be difficulties are still there just her way of seeing them has changed.

She laughed heartily as she saw him struggling in kitchen to make noodles and chilli paneer for her. Out of nowhere he had got this awesome idea to treat her like a mistress and himself as a chef for the day. He moved from one corner of the kitchen to another gathering the ingredients for gravy of chilli paneer, while dadima guided him through the process.

With the way he was cutting paneer in all those irregular cubes, she knew todays dinner would be a tough walk for her but then she just all ready to take the risk. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't even realized when dadiji came and sat next to her. "kya dekh whi h aap yuh khoe hue" she came back to the holy earth from the day dream and gave her a cheeky smile.

"acha yuh baat aj ni tal skkti aap, geet apko pta h I know you inside out!! Your hearts tell me first about the feelings before you understand them yourself"geet looked down, hesitation creeping down her nerves. She started fiddling with the end of the knee length skirt she was wearing, making her dadiji cup her cheek. "aap hme ni bolengi fir bi hum samajhte h. aur hm bhut lhush honge if you walk down this path with him, he is a nice guy and I like him" dadiji didn't said anything specifically yet said everything she needed to say to give geet the required confidence.

Tears shimmered in geet's eyes as she just couldn't gather the thought of having someone again in her life, someone whom she could look up to, and someone on whom she could be dependent on. She just hugged dadiji, expressing all the overflowing feelings, while the old woman took her in her arms cocooning her.

"woo leaving me out of the family hug, not fair" their cuddling time was interrupted by the complaining tone of maan who stood on kitchen doorway looking at them with his hands on his hips. The women separated themselves and he saw the shimmery tears in their eyes. "whats the matter??" he asked concerned for the moment.

"nah just an emotional hug, that's all!!" said dadiji with a bright smile making all the tension loose up from his body. "is it a family problem of handas to cry at anything and everything huh??" he said with a smirk making the ladies frown at him. "ahhh sorry.. chalo give me a hug too or no dinner today" he said in a warning making them both chuckle as he hugged both of the women together, one on each of his side, accepting them as his family.

"geet where are you am waiting for you since fifteen minutes at this caf. If you didn't reach in a minute, am shooting out" he said impatiently. "bas maan two minutes, am just on the road.. Just reaching!!" soon she was in his eye reach and he raised his hand signalling her through the glass window of caf.

She smiled at him and came out of her car, which was parked on the other side of the empty road. She was just crossing the road carelessly; her entire focus was on him. She didn't even realized when out of nowhere a hand pulled her back and clapped her mouth so that she didn't shout. Before she could even make a move, someone held her hand from behind stopping her movements.

Maan saw the two men with covered faces who held her mercilessly, and tried to pull her towards the car which was parked at some distance away. He made a dash toward them shouting for them and asking someone to call police immediately. The kidnappers saw him coming towards them; even geet saw him and started making attempts to free herself.

Her movements made it difficult for them to make it fast and soon he caught them with neck. He took hold of the guy who was holding her hands and gave a tight punch under his jaw making him stumble back. The guy tried to kick him back which he dodged very efficiently and hit him back with his arm on his back.

The other guy got alert and took out a knife from his pocket, and kept it on geet's neck. "leave him" the kidnapper said "or she will be gone" maan froze as he saw the knife pressed on her neck tightly, while he kept her captive with his other arm. "Leave her" he said as he threw his hands in air accepting defeat. "don't move" he pointed his knife at maan and on instinct geet kicked her heels on his groin making him bend down and loose his hold on her and maan immediately pulled her away from them and sent her aside.

Soon enough they heard siren from a distance clearly saying police are on their way. The kidnappers got alerted and tried to run away but maan hold one of them from neck not letting him leave. The onlookers also got on their move and cornered the other kidnapper beating shit out of him. Soon the cops reached them and took charge of the situation as well as the statement. Maan even called Delhi ASP who had handled the case in Delhi and asked him to check whether this kidnapping was a part of the attack which had happened in past with geet.

Maan turned to look at geet who stood in a corner holding herself against a pole for support. Her body was trembling with shock and fear. She looked at the kidnappers and murmured something in low voice. Maan went to her and tried to touch her but she moved away, her forehead cracking with sweat. "geet baby.. its me maan" he tried to cajole her and take her in his arms but she started murmuring, "leave me, I will give away everything.. Please leave me don't touch me!!! Please don't touch me!!!" and soon enough she lost her senses and was on ground, fainted!!
