Sonam Kapoor's Best Cannes 2014 Fashion Moments (So Far)

Forget Blake Lively"Sonam Kapoor is the belle of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival!

The 28-year-old Bollywood film star has been heating up the red carpet in showstopping looks that would make Cate Blanchett green with envy.

First up was a dramatic black sleeveless Elie Saab Couture gown, which featured an exaggerated waist la Marie Antoinette.

On Monday, the Vogue India cover girl did a style 180 in a gold sheer Anamika Khanna saree with a pearl and gold choker, designed by her mother, Sunita Kapoor.

Finally, the GQ India stunner dazzled in a powder blue Elie Saab gown with a pleated skirt and structured bodice at the Chopard Dinner.

It's hard to choose which gown is our favourite but we're leaning towards her black Elie Saab. Which is your fave?

Sonam may be pretentious about "Social work" coz really she has lived most of her life in luxury...I as a fan laugh at that!

But I think she truly believes in the rights for homosexuals...she may have friends who are homosexuals...she voices her opinion all the time about this - tweets, interviews! That's my view after following her closely for 7 yrs!

Well there was a poll on Indian Express with thousands of votes for the best dressed at Cannes between Ash, Freida and Sonam. Ash won around 75% of the votes, Sonam around 20% and Freida around 5%. No wonder she felt the need to do something about it. And suddenly you see an article as to how she "outshined" Blake Lively. 😆

Btw I might not think Sonam is all that, but I don't think her support for homosexuality is fake. I think she genuinely supports it.
