Epilogue:

6 months later:

"Khushi" Arnav whispered kissing her neck wounding her hands around her waist.

"Delhi" was her one word answer as she closed her eyes feeling the sensation the kiss creating in the pit of her stomach.

But the bliss short lived when Arnav span her around swiftly and cupped her face, looking in her eyes searchingly.

Khushi sighed and held on to his arms before kissing him lightly on his lips. The kiss sure did its work to relax him. She murmured against his lips brushing it in the process, "I can't let you live half a life, when part of you always will be wondering what your family is doing there."

Arnav stared at her astonished before speaking the obvious, "but Nani will be there"

Khushi smiled against his lips and pecked it once before breathing his masculine scent and saying, "I can live. Yes I am not saying I will be fine but as long as I have you beside me I will live through every hurdle of my life."

Arnav this time kissed her hard and long, pouring all his love and gratitude.

When they came apart breathing hard he breathed "My Khushi, can't live your side till the last breath, because I am selfish and never wish to live without happiness in my life."

She smiled.

"But your mother and brother don't you want them beside you?" he asked frowning.

This time Khushi came out of his hold and held her chin up crossing her arms over her bare torso wrapped in only a white sheet and said proudly," well I am the upcoming Rockstar you see, so I will be shuttling between Delhi-Bombay frequently so I will meet them alright." she wriggled her eyebrows.

Arnav shook his head smiling at her antics and pulled her again back against his chest unable to hold the temptation of the seductress before him, who can seduce by just one smile of hers without having a clue of it.

But before he dipped in her mouth to carry on their night full of passion he didn't forget to say, "Thank You."

1 year later:

"What the hell? Where are you Khushi? Pick up the phone Damn it!" Arnav grumbled agitated.

"Bhai give it a break" Akash entered his room, Shyam in tow.

Both has identical smirks on their faces and that sure didn't help to calm almost ready to blast Arnav

"Shut up!" the Lion growled.

Thought Akash coiled back a little but it didn't affect a bit on Shaym as he said understandingly "Arnav she might be busy. Why are you so tensed?"

"Because he is scared that his bride will run away before the wedding" Came Anjali's voice from the door way, an amused smile playing on her lips because if it was anything to go by Arnav's shocked expression then it was a bang on guess.

"Really Bhai!" came Akash's exasperated sarcastic response.

When Shyam only chose to laugh out loud and they hard Arnav's grumpy response "You never know. It is Khushi we are talking about."

All burst out laughing again in his expense.

They heard a knock on the door and Anjali went to open it only to find Mamaji and Mami ji waiting outside.

Mamiji walked in with a huge grin on her face, seeing Arnav in groom's attire almost ready.

When Arnav touched her feet she blessed him whole heartedly and then made him wear the jewelries a Raizada groom wears on the day of marriage, much to Arnav's annoyance, but his protests fell on deaf ears.

Finally she did arti of the groom and put on a long read tika on his forehead.

Everyone present in the room stared at the regal groom before them, unable to move their eyes, but the revere broke when they heard another knock.

When all looked at the door, all smiled, except Arnav as his posture went stiff and rigid.

Devyani Singh Raizada stood on the threshold, looking apprehensive, for the first time maybe in her whole life.

Mamji noticed Arnav's expressionless face and sighed; he went and held his mother by her shoulder, encouraging her to move forward. He knew this was the time to start the amending work, before it was too late. Hence he helped Devyani and made her stand before Arnav.

Arnav stared at the lady before him, many emotions playing in his eyes but most of all it was helplessness that was evident.

Helplessness because he couldn't bring himself to hate the lady before him after everything she did and loved her, respected her even now, but also the sense of betrayal never let him cross the distance between them in this one and half year.

No one knew but Khushi that how hard he fought to let go and forgive but couldn't. She encouraged him every time though it was her who was supposed to be discouraging him, but his Khushi knew he was a man who needed everyone beside him to keep going in life, so she made him try and maybe that was the reason that he was still standing before her and not running away.

Devyani looked at her grandson and felt proud; he looked the most handsome groom she ever had luck to meet. The love shone in her eyes when she cupped his face and then kissed her own fingers feeling his touch.

Her eyes went wide when she found him bending down before her and taking her blessing and that was the time two tear drops slipped from her closed contented eyes. She composed herself and called for HP who entered the room with a round big silver platter, in which among the rose petals, was lying the ceremonious sword of Raizada's .

She made him wear the sword and it hung from his waist, making him look like a true prince going to get married to his princess.

All this time he only watched his Nani. He didn't hug her or said a word but both knew that they had taken a step towards amending their broken relation.

Arnav could only stare when Abhi and Suhashi helped Khushi down the stairs towards the mandap. She was in her favorite color blue, the trousseau especially designed for her, looking like a fairy from an out of reach dream.

When Suhashi placed her hand on his he felt complete and when she smiled looking up on his face he felt the light seep in his world again and this time forever.

Both climbed the stairs of the mandap to get bound for the life and beyond.

2 years later:

"Everything is fine Arnav, calm down." Khushi assured him for the god knows how many times.

"Wipe your face Arnav, you are sweating" She tried to wipe herself but Arnav stopped her attempt by roughly moving his hand once on his face before gripping her hand in his again.

"Oh it is time!" the other lady in the room declared...

*Thud*

"Doctor, our brothers are outside call them and ask them to take him out and ask my mother to come in."

Mrs. ASR ordered and the doctor obediently nodded before shaking her head on the unconscious man on the floor and walking out.

An hour later:

"Congratulation Khushi it's a boy"

"Where is my husband?"

"Still unconscious"

"Sigh"

1 year later:

"Akash if you don't propose her how will she know that you have feelings for her?" Khushi said exasperatedly.

"But Bhabi? If she says NO then?" Said a scared Akash

"God Akash, be a man. You can't stay mum fearing her denial." Arnav said banging his head on the crib, where their one year old Arpit slept, cursing his luck.

How he had planned a romantic and passionate night with Khushi seeing Arpit fast asleep.

Their son had a perfect sense of timing of getting up between their lovemaking session and thus ruining it all together.

So when today he saw him sleeping already he wanted nothing but a undisturbed making out session with his Khushi, but the plan went out the drain when his brother knocked their door and came in saying he needed help with his love proposal and Khushi being Khushi was ready to help before Arnav could even open his mouth to tell Akash to f*ck off! and come back next morning.

He heard Khushi saying, "Akash if she says no also you can make it a yes. Can't you?" smiling encouragingly.

"But Bhabi NK?" Akash started chewing his knuckles.

Khushi frowned, "what about NK ?"

"Well La and NK spend most of the time together, what if they have some relationship already?" Akash said doubtfully.

Khushi stared at him for some moment and then burst out laughing.

Arnav shook his head and Akash looked more confused.

Khushi sobered up quickly before saying, "They are like Tom and Jerry Akash, they always fight yet saty together because they are connected by friendship, but nothing more and nothing less. Don't worry; La is open for your proposal."

"Thank you Bhabi" Akash beamed and next moment he was pushed of the room by Arnav.

"Bhai" Akash protested and in answer only heard from behind the already locked door "Good night Akash" and Khushi's loud laugh.

6 years later:

"Papa sit down, you legs will hurt later."

No Arpit I am fine, said an anxious Arnav continuing his pacing along the corridor.

"Mamu why didn't he go in with Mamma, when he is so tensed" Arpit asked to Abhi and in reply he only smirked but the answer came from his Akash Chachu .

"Because Doctor Aunty has banned him from going in beta."

"Why?" he asked innocently.

This time NK answered "Well he fainted in your time."

Arpit only managed an "Oh" and Arnav glared at NK and Akash who were smirking away in glory in his expense.

"Come Arpit lets go for some ice-cream", Lavanya offered seeing him getting bored in the elders company.

Abhi happily went with her and his cousin brother Chirag, Lavnya and Akash's 3 years old son.

Mamaji too went with them to give their grand children company.

Why get her pregnant when you cannot handle the stress of the delivery? Akash asked a teasing smile on his lips.

Arnav threw a furious glance in his direction still pacing.

"Abhi I think ASR never heard the concept of protection" NK invited Abhi to join in the teasing game but one look at Arnav's red face, Abhi knew better than to get murdered in bare hands of Arnav Fire Breathing Raizada. Hence he said, Akash Bhai and NK bhai," I should not comment on this because it is Di and Arnu Bhhai you are talking about."

NK and Akash threw him a look which said coward but it was Arnav's voice which made him astound

"Well don't you think NK if I wouldn't have heard of that concept then by this time I would have created half a cricket team." And with that Arnav Smirking Raizada had the last word before continuing his task of pacing again.

NK sat down on beside Abhi who had an amused smile on his lips looking at his BIL, who looked ready to pull his hair in stress yet couldn't help but be the ASR when it came to his reputation.

Akash only said, "Point."

Couple of hours later:

"Thank You Khushi for this beautiful angel, she looks just like you. You made my family complete"

Thank God Arnav and Thanks to Dr. Sinha, that this time at least you are awake to share this moment with me, and by the way I am humbled. Congratulation Arnav for second time fatherhood."

He pouted but congratulated her back nonetheless, with a sheepish grin.

"Congratulation" whole Raizada family and Gupta family screamed together to the second time parents from the door way making them jump out of their about -to- be- a- passionate -moment and glare at them, earning a some amused laugh form their family and friends.

And thus their journey of coming closer each day continued, which started Unknowingly one day.
