The year is still to see that bumper opening as with Jai Ho and 2 States having the best occupancies in the morning of release at around 60%.
Heropanti has taken the fifth best opening of the year in terms of occupancies over the first few shows. The film had solid opening occupancies in mass centres. This is pretty good as its newcomer cast which means limited face value though action is a trump card at mass centres.
The top openings of the year going by the morning and early afternoon shows are as follows. The occupancies are the mid point ranges.
