(Manyata was very relieved while handing the answer papers back to the examiner. She had done it! She had given the best she could. In her excitement she did not see what awaited her outside the class. When she turned in the corridor towards the stairs, a gun was pointed to her head and a hand was pressed to her mouth.)

She was scared for a second, but only a second; then she remembered who she was. She was Udayveer the Brave man's wife. Her elbow hit her potential kidnapper in the stomach and she turned suddenly to land a soild punch on his face. Kabir fell on the ground holding his stomach. His toy gun fell beside him. "What kind of a joke is this Kabir? you could have got hurt!!" Manyata extended a hand and he took it.

"I was only playing a prank on you stupid.. and man, you can kick an ass!" he nodded in feigned surprise.

"I'll kick yours now..you wait!" she moved and Kabir ducked.

Before anyone could see him, Uday snuck away as quickly as he could. He had been observing them for few minutes now, they looked so natural, so in tune with each other. And Manyata looked so relaxed in Kabir's company..

He ignored his car and began to walk towards home and a couple crossing the road caught his attention. The husband checked both sides of the road to check if any vehicle was approaching and then he took his wife's hand and very carefully they crossed.

What a nice man! His wife smiled at him in response and they happily went away chattering like love birds. Will he ever get such loving looks from Manyata? Going by the looks of it, answer was NO..

Her exams had ended and now she was free. Free to live her life as she wanted. And one month anniversary of their wedding was coming closer and Manyata fell into deep thoughts. Uday..the name that she hated once, the name that she never wanted to hear..The unwanted gift destiny had thrown at her, was she ready to let him go? Nope..never! but did he love her back? She wasn't sure..

She had been lying face down on her bed and Kuvar Arjun singh mewed somewhere nearby. She instantly got up but couldn't spot him anywhere.

"Arjun..Arjuun??" she called. The feline's mews could be heard but he wasn't visible.

His mews sounded like a cry in distress and Manyata continued to search for him under the bed, behind the table and everywhere. Finally she had a brainwave to check the balcony and there he was. He was stuck in the metal grills of the parapet!

Manyata freed him and then spotted another cat in the garden which was lying on all fours, waving its paws in the air. Oh so this was the reason for Arjun's failed bravery attempt.. she laughed.

"you love that Kitty, my baby? is she your girlfriend?" Manyata pulled his tiny ears playfully and he purred.

Suddenly another realization had hit home. Manyata took Arjun to garden and left him with his girlfriend'. Communication can prove to be the biggest hurdle in a relationship. If Arjun could speak today, he wouldn't have needed to call for help. He was just an animal but she was human right? So she should come out and tell everything to Udayveer. Sure he was a flirt, he had hurt her feelings in the past, but life was too short for grudges..the policy should be now or never..

A thrill ran through her as she imagined how she would express her true feelings to him.. She'd directly go and say those three words.. No, no that won't be nice. Perhaps she should write him a letter..yes! that's a great idea.

She took out a note pad and a pen and began to write.

My dear Uday..no no..My love Uday? No..just plain Uday' will be enough..

She was battling just with the adressal! How will she script the entire letter like this? Writing a letter was a bad idea..

One more plan, give him some clues..let him follow them and find out for himself.

Her mobile vibrated all of a sudden and she was jolted out of her thoughts. It was Uday calling..

"Manyata, are you at home? im coming in five more minutes..Need to speak to you about something, very important.." he cut the call.

Something Very important!!' what was it? oh gosh..was he gonna tell her that he loved her too??

Uday got home in exact five minutes as he had said and Manyata eagerly awaited him until he changed.

"come with me.." he said and she followed him all way towards the terrace.

"Manyata-" he began.

The expression on his face was of a little pain, little confusion..she couldn't understand it.

"Why did we come to terrace Uday? What's so important? Please tell me fast" Manyata said.

"I'm gonna tell you something that'll make everything crystal clear..Listen to me carefully ok" Uday stared into her eyes.

Manyata stood ramrod straight in response and he started again.

"Manyata..i want you to be happy..always smiling..do you remember the challenge on our wedding night? " Uday caught her shoulders.

Holy cow! He was gonna tell her that he loved her and now the challenge was not in force; that she was his and his only. Manyata closed her eyes and waited for those words which would make them one soul and two bodies.

Precap: "Tanya! Give me your hand..i won't let you fall!! I won't let you fall" Uday shouted. But it was too late.

In a matter of seconds, two bodies slipped into the deadly gorge below.
