Hi Guys…..

Hope you all are fine.

As we all know remake of Sholay is in process. The changes are as expected….(as what media says)

There is no village scenes..

Old Gabbar was a threat to a village..but this new Gabbar is an underworld don.

Old Gabbar was in military jacket …this new one is in stylish jackets..

Basanti is now Ghungroo (played by Nisha Kothari)

Dhanoo is now Laila

Veeru Ajay Devgan (earlier played by Dharmendra)

Jai is played by Mohit (James, Shiva hero) (earlier played by Big B)

Thakur (Sanjeev Kumar) role is played by Mohanlal (Superstar of Malayalam Movies…played C.B.I inspector in Company starring Ajay devgan and Viveik Oberoi)

Voices raised from every corner.. that Old sholay should not be remake.

So according to u all… Has Ramu( Ram Gopal Varma) done the right thing by going for a remake???

Will there be comparisons? (No doubt media will compare with its reviews, but how you will approach for it)

Can the above actors do Justice to there role?

No Doubt Big B is an institute of acting in himself, but can he justify the role? Will he be able to clear the image of Amjad Khan (old Gabbbar) and make his image as Gabbar and leave a trademark?

After seeing the promos I felt that theme might be same but it is completely different movie Ramu is using name for advance publicity?

Ramu is obsessed with the underworld..He had made some good movies like company and Sarkaar with the theme but he has also made flops like D...

If he has borrowed from a classic like Sholay he better make a good movie or else be ready to go into exile bacuase the audiences wouldnt like to see an arbit interpretation of a movie that they have loved so much for years!

I hope the real underworld dons actually watch RGV's movies and die of confusion and boredom. 🤢

I think we can only comment on dis after seeing the movie. 😊

Yes, defintltly each and every1 will compare. However i dont think it is justified to compare. Both wud be good in thier own ways. 😊

I highly doubt bec sholay is a legend.

Lets wait and watch.. 😉

No i doubt that. Maybe the storyline is same but the setting is different. Afterall we dont want an exact sholay bak either. 😃

okay this seems like a completely different movie!!! how can he claim this to be a remake of sholay when there are sooo many changes. utterly ridiculous! i don't have a problem with remaking a classic but stick to the original script, not create your own and name it as a remake.

i dont know whats so special about sholay movie, except for the amitabhs and dharmendras scene and in locals every one reveres this movie as if its some sort of titantic movie 🤢 🤢 🤢 and then on top he is making a remake which doesnt even look like a remake, looks like bollywood is losing its creativity first bollywood is going out of lyrics and now its going out of stories, whats next?

Sounds like a Cheeeeee-make rather then remake.

After debacle of remakes like Don, Ramu is atleast not following the same story line. Underworld is more modern way 😉 to look at the evils residing in our society as far as gondaism goes.

Why Amitabh is doing negative role in this movie? I think he should have just watched this game from the fence instead of taking a risk of ruining his Sholay's image.

I think Amitabh is following 'Make hay while the sun shines' to the T. He just grabs any offer without caring for the script.
