Balika Vadhu' to get a new character

Akash Khurana

Theatre and film actor Akash Khurana will soon enter the show Balika Vadhu. Khurana will be seen in the role of Shyamal Bhai and will help Dadisa (Surekha Sikri) get over the guilt of murdering someone.

Khurana said, "I started shooting for the show on May 20. Presently, Kalyani Devi aka Dadisa is suffering from the guilt of having murdered Heth Singh's son after he tried to molest a girl. My character will be a spiritual one, who will help her get over her guilt, and will become an integral part of their family. He was himself a convict and was freed."

Personally, I think DS should be more worried for 'killing' Jamuna than killing Suraj - because Jamuna was innocent who was killed because of greed for a grandson (the intention was to get a grandson not caring if the mother dies), while Suraj got killed accidentally while saving Gulli. Creatives are emphasizing perhaps because DS was responsible directly for death of Suraj (in Jamuna's case she was indirectly responsible) still morally, she should be more concerned for what she did to Jamuna - if later she wished to save Ganga more of the child does not mean that the act of killing Jamuna was undone.

True. She is never shown about thinking about Jamuna and how she was responsible for her death.

But I guess she doesn't think about Jamuna because Gehna is there in their lives now.

She should have thought about Jamuna at least while Ganga was going through that complicated pregnancy.Her guilt over Jamuna's death was the reason behind her caring for Ganga so much during her pregnancy.Had they shown some FBs of those scenes it would have made some sense to the viewers.

actually they did show some FB's of Jamuna to Dadisaa when Ganga was pregnant not in too detail but some they show When Dadisaa and others came to know Ganga is pregnant Jagya took her to hospital Ganga was asking Dadisaa to make Jagya understand nothing will happen to her Dadisaa was in a same situation as of jamuna's time to choose between bahu and grandson Dadisaa immediately remembered Jamuna What she chose then which is still a huge burden on her soul and she said to Ganga you are more important than anything else Dadisaa was ready for Ganga's abortion but her life was more precious to her
