Loved this part!!

Numero Uno Law in Desi soap the main leads have to duke it out in public so the antagonists can pick up on their weakness and work on that The show that should not be named prime example so yes all this talking is fodder for those who wish to use it against them for the next track for in the end RR is just that a bloomin fictional serial having characters that don't exist outside of the writers imagination and nope Rudra and Paro are not real but enacted by 2 actors

FLS...the only reason I am daring to open my mouth is cause I think I wont be kicked out from your thread or insulted or mocked or yada...yada ..yada.
No...I cannot cut Paro slack or to be more precise any more slack cause I have been doing that for months now, and I have run out of reel 😆!! Let me state one thing clearly, when I or any viewer talks about a character, u and me know they are not real, are fictional and so we won't overstep the boundaries of decency in discussions...and about this the least said the better. Another point when I complain about or criticize one character, its not Paro or Rudra's fault coz they are not real people, if they don't make sense, its ultimately the writer that's at fault.
And about Paro, there is so much to write..where do I start from?? When has she not been confused, or not thinking straight, when she worshipped Tejawat, or then worshipped Rudra overnight, when she compared him and herself to deities and strongly believed that Gods wanted them together? Or was she thinking straight when she publicly proposed, and subsequently did things that eventually led to suspension and loss of dignity for her man. Or was she thinking straight when after a horrific and shockingly forced marriage, she was strewing roses and smiling happily and playing house without a frown on her brow. Or is she thinking straight now...letting her husband's ex lover stay in the house against everyone's wishes, especially her husband's express anger and disgust, knowing how uncomfortable it is for all. Knowing, she is an almost murderer and not trustworthy, defying all elders and well wishers too in the process. She is furious with Rudra...why?? Then she claims...faraq nahin padta?? Then she talks about adhikaars...conveniently forgetting how Rudra was pressurized and forced into marriage by her actions. On one hand she claims she is above this all, on the other hand, she is giving Rudra the hardest time possible. And dont even get me started on the public scenes, with her everything has to be out in the open with a zillion spectators around, airing your dirty laundry gets a new meaning. She can see how the man behaves with her and with Paro, and she says it does not matter as she has an open and understanding mind, yet we always get back to tears and tantrums??!! On one hand she cares for him, on the other hand indirectly accuses him of having feelings for his mistress, strings attached...literally. She claims love cannot be forced...err...what the heck then has she been doing for months now, and lately toh khulle aam. The man who goes beyond limits to get her smile back and is following her around for forgiveness although he has not done anything wrong. And she dreams of his adulterous behaviour, she is arm twisting and emotionally blackmailing the man she forcefully married and plans to leave in near future, and whom she suspects loves another woman, whom she insists on keeping in the same house, to confess his love for her...Phew...What the heck is going on here??I can go on and on...but...
Sorry..sorry...very sorry for the rant...but thanks for providing me a safe place to rant.. I don't dare do it even in my post...😃at least hear I am assured of a fair hearing with respect. 😆
Sorry...I hope I don't create trouble in you post...If I see something...will happily delete the above.

Hi,
Thank you for your post.😊 You post mirrors exactly what i wanted to say but didnt hve the guts to say (in this case: didnt hv the guts to post ) This is my first 'desi soap' forum experience and to be honest its scary! I belong to neither camp Rudra nor camp Paro. I love Rangrasiya...sometimes i connect better with Rudra and other tms its Paro i relate to. Yesterday, i really felt bad for both but more for Paro.

😊--i saw the same Paro too... A child woman. A child who still believes in happy ending..who hopes for happy ending..the way..she explained the story to Maithili. You can see her thoughts clearly there- She was yearning for the same happy ending. But Rudra's revelation shook the woman Paro. She was shocked when he revealed his past to her but what bothered her then and still bothering her is his answer to her 'did you ever love her??' I saw disgust on her face. And that disgust turned into insecurity.. He spent 8 years with Laila , had sexual relationship with her and yet could easily dismiss her. we audience know banna's reason for this but what abt Paro??? From Paro's pov - if he could easily throw Laila after 8 years, he could do the same thing to her too. Ohh we all know Rudra loves her but what abt Paro??? This is the same Major who wanted her to marry Sumer, the same Major who married her to save his job ( again audience prefer to think differently), lets not forget his infamous 8 vows. ( which he flushed to drains the next day) Ohh i came back for the prayers becz i want you out of my life forever... Ohh im mad at you bzc if anything happens to you it'll cost me my job( chilli episode), i havnt given anyone right to question me... We Audience, know that he didnt mean any single thing of it but we're not there to tell Paro. He has to do it. Yeah true he protected her from the beginning, cared for her but can we equate care and protect to love??? Soo how can we expect Paro to understand his gestures as love????? Laila is not a problem...she is major's past but the way he easily threw away his past is a problem. And abt Paro's vow- i totally agree with your take on it. Its a test of Paro's faith and she shall pass with flying colors.

What happened in the play the writers pandered to the TRP viewers thirst for masala and we had Laila pay off the story teller to change the tale of love and play her mind games to make Paro feel inadequate and ignorant and very insecure Love does that and wonder are so many here so jaded and cynical that typical womanly emotions are not recognized and this coming from the Grinch Real Satyanash she says

--😃😆

Paro for just that moment escaped into a wondrous land of fairytales and believed her Raja and she were actually dancing on stage till the bogey of Laila like a cockroach in a drink turned up and ok the dance again for the lowest common denominator the rise of TRP's last week is of any indication so will not split hairs and rant why why going against character End of the day entertainment for the masses

-😊-To me, the dance somehow symbolizes the characters at the moment. Each controlled by a string that dictates their thinking and behavior. Paro: insecurity Rudra: ignorance. Laila: need.

If you can be sympathetic to a man of the world who is that experienced and cry how much he is trying and hurting then cut some slack for a girl who is inexperienced in worldly matters now finds her second shot at finding happiness and love with another man also probably illusory about to be snatched from her hand Rudra is not the only one with complexes and insecurities in fact Paro is far more intricately layered

👏👏I've always believd that Paro is the 'RASIYA' of this equation. Rudra, i can easily read him Its Paro who remains enigmatic for me. I mean i can never guess how the girl is going react the next second. When i feel i have finally succeeded in decoding Paro, the cvs reveal another layer of her character that throws me back to where i started.

😊--at the end of the day, its just a telly show for me. Pure entertainment. These characters do not exist. I watch the show for 22 mins..feel happy for them...feel sad for them ..Then when real world calls i answer. Rangrasiya shoved somewhere till the nxt ep. Getting too attched to the characters , hurting real friends / human beings for mere fictional characters seem 😕 Why take it seriously...i dont. I wont.

P/s its my Pov. Each person sees things differently..having diffrent opinion doesnt mean i am right and the others who disagree are wrong n vice versa. To each... 😊

Lovely post FLS!! Loved it!!
@Eve: BANG ON my dear!!! I share the same sentiments about Paro with you. No two ways about it! Anyway, the lesser said the better. You have perfectly voiced all my feelings!!! Don't wish to start a World War on FLS' thread or get you in more trouble! But seriously, kudos to you!!!

Loved your post FLS!

I also wish some folks would actually cut some slack for Paro! Her whole belief seems to have taken a big blow.. She needs Rudy's assurance more than ever-

Her promise to bholenath for leaving him notwithstanding! Thats what I feel I guess.

Love your post.. especially this bit If you can be sympathetic to a man of the world who is that experienced and cry how much he is trying and hurting then cut some slack for a girl who is inexperienced in worldly matters now finds her second shot at finding happiness and love with another man also probably illusory about to be snatched from her hand Rudra is not the only one with complexes and insecurities in fact Paro is far more intricately layered Second you say why because she thought Varun was her every answer to what she wanted in her life so when that tale was told with another ending where her worst nightmares of Laila being the one for him it seemed to confirm her own inner fears Paro is someone who believes in signs as being messages and she saw that once again being played out ergo her tears and his fears hmm reminds me of retro British band tear for fears ok digressing

I dont know why everyone is after Paro for wanting to hear something from Rudra.. yes his actions show her he cares but that has always been the case.. and yet he has come back and told her that he doesnt care for her.. he doesnt care if she marries sumer.. he doesnt care if he leaves him and goes.. just how many times has he told her that.. so now that she is so vulnerable and emotional and her faith is shaken she wants him to acknowledge that yes she matters..

Also yes he has told her Laila doesnt matter, but he has also told her that she herself doesnt matter to him.. so how does she just accept it on face value..

I think we should cut her some slack.. she's pretty fragile right now I would say..

Good post
Totally agree.
I soap land and in love stories only the ML is allowed to have emotional inconsistencies, that can be linked to his traumatic past. A fL is expected to get hold of herself and be understanding of his demons and fix them and get her arms twisted (literally and figuratively) in the process. She can't have her own demons to fight. When she shows emotional upheavals, she is arm twisting the ML. Some hypocrisy!
