Jalal smirked at his Junglee Billi. " Ya Allah! Tera laakh laakh shukr ki tune Jodha ko humari jindagi mein bheja... Unhe zindagi ki har khush idena parvadigar." He raised his hands in prayer to Allah.

Part:9

Jodha was dancing in the garden. She was not in her senses.All she could remember was his sweet and innocent mischiefs,his love, his care.

"He loves me so much...!" She muttered. She was running in the garden, chasing rabbits, holding pigeons,playing with butterflies. She was looking divine, a celestial beauty. Her innocence could be seen clearly on her face. She was smiling and blushing simultaneously. She spotted a fountain at some distance from the garden and ran towards it. As she was running, her leg twisted and she was about to fall when Jalal held her wrist and supported her.

Jodha's eyes first widen in shock, but were immediately lowered as she thought that it is her imagination. She lifted her eyelids with much difficulty and said with a voice full of love, "Shahenshah, aap toh hume har jagah dikhayi dene lage hai. Hum kahi bhi jaaye, kuch bhi kare hume keval aapka dhyan aata hai Shahenshah. Ab to hume aisa prateet hota hai ki kahi hum pagal na ho jaaye. Hum aapke baare mein itna sochte hai ki ab aap hume apne samaksh dikhayi de rahe hai." She blushed saying all this.

She pinched herself to come out of this dreamland but to her amazement, her IMAGINATION didn't vanish. He stood there, smiling,smirking. Jodha's eyes stretched. She couldn't believe that HE was actually there, and she ACTUALLY said all this to him. Finally, Jalal broke the awkward silence. He whispered in a sensual tone, " Hum aapko har jagah dikhaayi dete hai Jodha Begum?".

Jodha felt her eyelids were too heavy to carry. They automatically lowered down, following a heavy blush that crept on her face, increasing her beauty manifold.

Jalal encircled her waist but she quickly ran out of his grip. Jalal however, was adamant on getting her reply, so he chases her. Jodha turns her face while running and notices that Jalal had stopped for some reason and was holding his leg as if it was paining. Jodha stepped forward to help him but recalls how he tricked her and decided to check. So, she ran towards him and stood at an unusually large distance from him. Jalal squaled in pain, he was not acting. Jodha felt his pain and made him sit on a bench nearby. She took his leg into her little hands and examined it. Blood was oozing out of a bite continuously. Jodha recognized the bite in no time. She panicked, " Shahenshah. Kitna khoon beh raha hai. Hum abhi lep laate hain!". She turned to go but Jalal held her wrist and said in a passionate tone, " Humari har chot ki marham to aap hain Jodha." Jodha was irritated at his reply, she bursted on him. " Aapko abhi mazak soojh raha hai!! Kitna khoon beh raha hai!!! Humara haath chodiye hume lep laana hai." But Jalal didn't budge. Instead, he tightened his grip. Jodha saw no other option other than sitting with him. She sat on the ground, tore a piece of her dupatta( which covers her head) and wipped off the blood using the cloth.

Jalal was touched by her care and affection. He made her sit beside him and rested his head in her lap while she caressed his head. He said," Jab aap humare paas hoti hain toh hum puri duniya ko bhool jaate hain Jodha. Aap jaisa paak-saaf aur nek dil insaan toh humne puri zindagi mein nahi dekha. Hum aapse bahut mohabbat karte hain Jodha. Agar aap humse dur chali gayi toh hum zinda nahi..." He was about to complete his sentence when Jodha's little fingers covered his lips. " Aapne phir se wahi baat ki naa Shahenshah! Aap jaante hai ki hum aapse dur ek pal ke liye bhi nahi reh sakte. Toh phir baar baar iss baat ka varnan karke aap hume aur peeda kyon pahuchate hain?" She was crying badly. Jalal immediately got up from her lap. He kissed away her tears and said," Hume muaf kardijiye Jodha.. Hum aapko dukh nahi pahuchana chahte. Hum aapse behad mohabbat karte hain." Jodha hugged him tightly and said," Hum bhi aapse bahut prem karte hain Shahenshah." Both were lost in their dreamland, unaware that a pair of eyes were watching them.😳😳 It was none other than Hamida. She wore a broad smile on her lips witnessing the love between her son and chahiti bahu.😃

She raised her hands in prayer to the Almighty, thanking him for blessing AKDHA. 😆 "Ya Khuda, Jodha aur Jalal ki jodi ko banaye rakhna." Then an idea struck her mind which converted her smile to that with mischief. She silently left from there, planning how to bring the plan in action.

HAMIDA'S CHAMBERS

Hamida had sent a word to Jodha to meet her immediately in her chambers. As she expected, Jodha hurried to her chamber and greeted her.

"Pranaam Ammijaan. Aapne hume bulaaya? Hum aapki kis prakaar seva kar sakte hain ammijaan?" She asked as she folded her hands in a respectful namaste.

"Jodha beta. Hume aapki salaah ki zaroorat hai!" Hamida responded.

"Sallah? Kis vishay par aapko humari raay chahiye ammijaan?" Jodha was amazed as she would normally consult Salima if she needed any advice.

"Hum Jalal ka nikaah karvana chahte hai. Kisi Rajput shehzadi se." Hamida replied, shocking Jodha to core.

Jodha couldn't believe what she hears. Her eyes widened, her face turned pale. "Shahenshah ka nikaah???" She asked in a confused tone, clearly showing her dissapproval.

"Haan Jodha. Jalal apni zindagi mein 4 baar nikaah kar sakte hain. Aapke aane ke baad bhi woh ek aur nikaah kar sakte hai. Rajputon ke saath apne rishte badhaane ke liye hum yeh nikaah karwana chahte hain. Aapki nazar mein koi aisi shehzaadi hai?"

Jodha stood there, utterly shocked. Her mind was continuously thinking how to stop Hamida but HOW??? And if she asks WHY then what?"

She finally thought of a good excuse and said, " Nahi ammijaan. Hum... Hum maatr apni taakat badhaane ke lie kisi stree ka jeevan barbad nahi kar sakte.. Use peedha nahi pahucha sakte. Agar vivah vivashta se kiya jaaye, to usme prem nahi hoga. Aur jis vivah mein prem na ho vah vivah kaise hua? Hume aisa nahi karna chahiye."

Hamida smiled inside. She could easily sense that Jodha is trying to make her quit this idea.

"Sahi kaha aapne Jodha... Vaise bhi aap bhi to Jalal se nafrat karti hain. Unhone aapse bhi to jabardasti se nikaah kiya tha. Hum Jalal ke dushmano mein ek aur naam daakhil nahi kar sakte."

Jodha who was happy after listening to the first sentence, felt like someont stabbed her after she completed her words. SHe immediately spoke, " Hum shahenshah se ghrina nahi karte."

Hamida laughed inside at her innocence but pretended further, "Beta aapko apni ammijaan se jhooth bolne ki zaroorat nahi hain.Hum jaante hai ki aap Jalal se nafrat karti hai unhe napasand karti hain."

"Nahi Ammijaan! Hum unse ghrina nahi karte hum to unse..." Jodha spoke whatever came in her mind without checking her words. Luckily she stopped in time.

"Hum unse kya Jodha?" Hamida teased Jodha.

"Kuch... Kuch nahi Ammijaan." Jodha said, blushing all the while.

"Aap Jalal se mohabbat karti hain?" Hamida asked her with her voice full of love and care.

Jodha was shocked at her question. She looked into her eyes. She could tell that she knows about them. She wanted to ignore the question but her throat choked. Her heart danced and she nodded a yes.😳 Hamida embraced her tightly and held Jodha's ears.

She said," Ab aap apni ammijaan ko bhi apni dil ki baatein nahi bataati Jodha? Ya phir sab baatein Jalal se hi keh deti hai??"

Jodha blushed heavily and ran out of her chambers. She couldn't see anyone. She was running towards HIS chambers. She was dying to meet him and in her haste she didn't even seek his permission to come in. Ruqaiya was watching all this from a distance and recalled what happened to her a few moments ago.

RUQAIYA'S FB

Ruqaiya was getting dressed. She wore a beautiful green mughal dress along with heavy jewellery. She wanted to lure him and get him back. But she didn't knew that he was not attracted to Jodha, but he was in love with her. She also got his favorite perfume and headed towards his chambers.

She sent a bandhi to him asking him for permission to come in. To her surprise, he refused to allow her to come in. She was never ever denied the permission to come in his chamber. For her, it was a formality.

"Hume andar aane se mana kar diya... Aur iss Jodha ko bina ijazat andar aane ka haq de diya!!!" She muttered, gritting her teeth.

Good one👏👏. As I said in my previous comment there is really some cuteness in your chapters. Loved the whole scene between Jalal and Jodha. Hamida became so naughty. Ruks here also and Jalal didt gave permisson to meet him👏. And she saw Jo entering without permission. So evil plan going to start again?.
