Part:10
Jodha barged into his chambers, shocking Jalal. Before he could react, Jodha flung her arms around him and took him into a long and cozy embrace. Jalal didn't respond to the hug, he was way too shocked by her behaviour. But still, he decided to do something in which he was perfect: Tease her... So he said, "Humne aisa kya kar diya jo hume yeh inaam mil raha hai Jodha?" "
Jodha's eyes widen in shock as she comprehended his meaning. She struggled in his arms but couldn't get anywhere. He was tightening his grip every minute, compelling her to come closer😳. She tried to lure him by making a puppy face and whispered, " Hume chod dijiye Shahenshah." But to no avail. Finally, seeing no other option, she decided to trick him. She shouted," Ammijaan? Yahaan!!!!!!!!"😲 Jalal was sure that she is tricking him so he paid no attention to her tactics. Jodha tickled him, faked anger and what not., Sensing Jodha's shyness, he loosened his grip on her.
Jalal asked him soflty, "Jodha aap yahaan?? Kuch kaam tha?". Jodha nodded a yes. She recalled her conversation with Hamida as a shy blush crept on her face. But her blush was short lived, she also recalled about Jalal's Nikaah. A lone tear trickled down her eye as she imagined Jalal getting married to someone else. Jalal noticed this and carried her in his arms and made her comfortable on the bed. (NO SR...😆)
Jalal noticed the change of expressions on her innocent face and was rather shocked. He immediately wiped her tears and asked her softly, "Jodha... aap ro kyun rahi hain? Kisi ne aap se kuch kaha?" Jodha nodded a no. She hugged him tightly and said, " A... Ammijaan aapka vivaah karvana chah... chahti hai... Ek rajput ra... rajkumari se." She was sobbing badly. Jalal was constantly caressing her back and head. "Jodha... aapke baad hum kisi se nikaah karne ka soch bhi nahi sakte!"
Jodha felt a bit relieved and narrated all that ha happen in HB's Chambers.
Jalal giggled at her innocence which did not go unnoticed by Jodha. She asked, sobbing," Aap has rahe hai Shahenshah??? Aapko vivaah karna hai?"
Jalal couldn't help but smirk at her innocence and purity. He cupped her face and said" Aap itni masoom kaise ho sakti hai Jodha... Ammijaan ne ye sab sirf aapko apni mohabbat ka izhaar karwane ke liye kaha tha. Woh kisi bhi siyasi faayide ke liye humara nikaah nahi karwaayengi."
Jodha smiled faintly, looked at him with those doe-like beautiful and innocent eyes and asked innocently, "Sacchi??"
"Sacchi!"
Jalal embraced her and sensually kissed her cheeks. Normally, Jodha would struggle in his arms to come out but this time he didn't get any movement. Jalal got curious and as he broke the hug, he saw a peacefully sleeping Jodha. He couldn't transfer her to her chamber, or this would become another topic for the Harem Begums to gossip about. He certainly didn't want that.
Finally, he came to the conclusion that Jodha would sleep in his chamber tonight. Jalal made her lie comfortably on the bed and went to sleep on the couch. Just then, Jodha's words echoed in his mind..." Hume aap par poora vishwaas hai." He smiled as he recalled their love and dozed off.
MORNING
Hamida just finished reading namaz when Gulbadan begum, Salima Begum and Jiji Anga entered.
"Aapne hume yaad kiya Ammijaan?" Salima begum asked her politely.
"Ji Gulbadan Begum... Hum Jalal aur Jodha ko Ajmer Sharif ke paak safar par bhejna chahte hain. Hum chahte hain ki unhe Baba Shekh Salim Chishti ka aashirvaad mile. Isli masle par hume aap sab ki raay chahiye thi." Hamida answered.
"Yeh to bahut hi nek khyaal hai maryam makani. Jodha begum aur Shahenshah ko Iss safar par Jaana chahiye.." Jiji Anga supported her idea.
"Hum Jiji Anga se ittafaq rakhte hai. Iss paak safar par bhejna yakinan ek accha tarika hoga un dono ko ek dusre ke karib laane ka." Salima said.
"Karib toh woh aa chuke hai salima.. Ab to unhe bus Peer baba ki duaon ki zaroorat hai..." Hamida thought.
JALAL'S CHAMBERS
Soothing sunrays fell on Jodha's face as she woke up lazily, streching her arms. She was still very much sleepy, so she didn't notice that she was in Jalal's hojra and went to the bathroom to freshen up. After she came out, what she saw shocked her. Jalal was sleeping in HER chambers that too on the couch. Jodha's doe like eyes observed the chamber. It was not hers, she could easily tell, but it seemed familiar. It didn't took her long to recall her conversation with Jalal and she could easily figure out what must have happened when she dozed off.
"Shahenshah bhi naa.. Hume bistar par sulkar swayam yahaam so rahe hai" She thought as she approached him. He was in deep sleep, with a content smile on his lips. Jodha sat near him and caressed his silky hairs and forehead. Unconsciously, Jalal grabbed her hand and held it close to his heart. Jodha blushed 😳 lightly at 😳his action. Her blush was increased manifold when he whispered, "Jodha..."☺️
MAHAM ANGA'S CHAMBER😡
Maham anga was pacing up and down. She still could not believe that Jalal had actually made JODHA the MALLIKA OF MUGHAL SALTANATE. She hated Rajvanshis to the core, and ever since Jodha came in their lives, she feared for her position and respect in Jalal's eyes.
She thought that Jalal was slowly becoming softer towards HINDUS, which was unacceptable for (my DEAREST😡) MAHAM ANGA.
She decided to devise a plan which would outcast Jodha from their lives.
It didn't took long for a devil idea to struck her devil mind. All she needed now was a pawn which would execute her plan, "and who could it be other that Begume E Khaas?" She thought and began laughing hysterically.
"Ek ghayaal sher khatarnaak hota hai Begum JODHA!" She shouted and gave her evil smirk as she rushed towards Ruqaiya's chamber.
RUQAIYA'S CHAMBER
Ruqaiya was sure that Maham had come to taunt her. And she was well prepared for it, she had a khanjar(dagger) with her so that if She does cross her limits, then atleast she could shut her up by threatening.😲
"Aadab Begum E Khaas.." Maham said sarcastically as she greeted her.
"Aap yahan Maham? Kuch kaam tha?" Ruqaiya said, gripping the dagger.
"Yeh Bandhi to aapke mijaaz-e-sharif puchne aayi thi Begum E Khaas... Kaise hai aapke mijaaz?"
"Humare Mijaaz toh theek hai Maham... Lekin lagta hai Jodha BEGUM ke Mallika E Hind banne se aapko bahut sadma laga hai?" Ruqaiya gave her evil smirk.
" Aapko keval unka auhda dikh raha hai Begum Ruqaiya... Unke aur Jalal ke beech ki nazdikiya nahi dikh rahi??" Maham asked
Ruqaiya recalled how Jalal behaved with her the other day when she was furious. She unknowingly touched her cheek where Jalal slapped her. Her eyes were filled with fear. Maham got the hind and said sarcastically, " Lagta hai Shahenshah ne aap par haath uthaaya tha begum Ruqaiya.. Kyun? Hum sahi keh rahe hai naa?"
Ruqaiya's eyes widen in shock. " Yeh kya badsaluki hai Maham??? ( pointing the dagger towards her.. { kaash maar deti Ruqaiya!!!!} )
Jalal hum par uthaana to dur, humse uchi aawaz mein baat bhi nahi karte! Toh fir aapne aisee ghatiya baat apni zubaan se nikalne kaise di???"
Maham said, " Begum Jodha ko Jalal ki zindagi se nikaalne ka ek raasta hai humaare paas." and smirked.
Ruqaiya was not surprised. She knew how much she hates Jodha and believe me, her hatred was no less for our poor Jodha. Maham told her evil idea to her and sure enough, Ruqaiya agreed and started laughing hysterically.
"Jodha begum... aapka khel khatm!
