when kalpi started she was a collage going girl so she did wear western outfits and kurti.But now she goes to office and shown maturing so comes the suits.

dont worry she will wear those small one piece westers for party just to fall in raghav arms ...rofl

On a serious note , well this is how it is in most of the middle class families.

we wear frocks when smalll as we grow up we r given skirts in school then we r made to wear suit in high school and inter collage uniform

..then during our graduation we r somehow allowed for jeans , long skirts and westers till they cover u well ...lol

then when u join office suit r considered formal and sober dress for us in party u can wear saree

then u get married and then saree comes permanent and suit as casuals jeans short skirts r only for honeymoon

well this is how dressing in middle class family in india progresses and this is how kalpi character is progressing in dressing
