Now he has done masala r..rajkumar and is going to do Haider with vishal.
With his PR trying to copy ranbeer PR strategy and trying to push him as a ladies men.
Have his time arrived or he would just be another guy with solo hits once in a blue moon.

He has made a place for himself in the industry surely and he's around doing solo lead films, that obviously states that he's not done and dusted with.

He is a star most definitely, has a large fan following and I guess that defines stardom.

The industry has seen one movie wonders or ones that last only 3-4 years and later they vanish. He somehow has stayed relevant in the media and amongst his fans.

And no I'm not a die hard fan of his. 😛

I think he is a star in his own way, and he does have a certain fan following.

But will he be a star...at the level of a SRK or Hrithik - probably not! But that's okay. I believe his peak was around Kaminey, and poor movie choices really hit him hard after that.

It's too late...

People are bored of him, he lacks screen prescene he used to have! Whenever I watch him now, I just wanna change channel on TV(didn't use to happen earlier)

With such talented new breed of actors coming, people have started to focus more on them and Shahid fans are also slowly going towards them! He might still get offers but his Time is long over

Nope.

He rarely takes risks and rarely goes after versatile roles. He mostly plays it safe. Ranveer and Ranbir are better at acting & BO compared to him.
