Okay I am taking your thread to rant smriti
The show has not been doing great , when its quality deteriorates , I think already people who had followed thew show will criticize
Which is just pointing out what they did nt like
People can agree disagree argue ignore report all in the game , but that should be limited to the contents of the post should not extend to the person
Passing judgements on people who made certain kind of posts , any kind for that matter is childish and irresponsible
categoriZing people that is what is going on in the forum
Bashing a 'person' for making a paro critiquing post Is same as bashing a Rudra'critiquing' post
I don't see how can it be different
IF is entertainment , I can speak for myself , I dont take it seriously enough to get offended but the fact is who wants to spoil your day by something this silly
It is like people have copyrights for paro and Rudra and the show , defending as I said Ian perfectly fine Offending the marker of the post Is not [
Customising responses not based on the content but based on the person who made that ppost is not cool
BR]It Is interesting how patterns repeat seen the same a few years back here

Your points:

One, Laila's grand plan to win over Rudra consists of rubbing her carnal knowledge of Rudra in Paro's face. What nonsense! Paro has no carnal knowledge and Laila's double-entendres only make Moonchiya horny, driving him closer to Paro to seek relief. Bakwas plan. Make the Laila track more ominous by having her work on breaking up Parud with more intelligent plans than bumping into Moonchiya in hallways or showing up in their room with low-waist skirts. Where is the menace??

Two, somebody please fire this sound/music editor of the show. He/She has no clue when to play what music. Ishaaqzade?? Really?? the one in which the leads DIE in the end? This is a rustic love story, you need a Rajasthani version of Rabba Ve. You need a Rangrasiya version that does not break out into full blown dandiya dance but plays mellifluously and gently in the background. When the singer blares "Inka saath hai Maati sang Kumhaar" I am forced to divert my attention from the romance on screen to lower my volume, breaking whatever spell they are trying to create.

Three, Paro's bangs are not being blown in some desert storm that can only be controlled by Moonchiya's only working hand. Make the wind blow her dupatta or skirt and then I will believe his need to jump to her rescue. Poor screenplay. Create intimacy and proximity with believable scenes, please, or else they look fake and forced.

I've never liked Kitchen politics in any show. The KcM Laila combo's cheap thrills and tactics are fast destroying the higher purpose that was set out for this show. If the intent is to show a love-story then make Laila menacing so I tremble in my boots at her presence.

@bold - WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE.

Lately the forum has become such a difficult place to visit what with all the fandom-wars. What I fail to understand is that don't we have bigger things to worry about, say for instance, the current TRACK (or lack of it) in the show????? I mean seriously, just because Tarun left (HUGE loss IMO), doesn't mean that the Tejawat track has to be totally forgotten. What's wrong with bringing Mala into the house instead of Laila??? Wouldn't that have atleast made some sense????

I have always watched soaps with a pinch of salt and understood that it was too much to expect them to show logic. RR began with so much promise and though there were scenes I overlooked, scenes I rolled my eyes at and scenes that just made me wanna bang my head against the wall, I still persisted with watching this because I knew that the show is something different with a potential to become AWESOME. But alas the way the tracks have been changed(TRP pressure I guess) the essence of the show has gotten lost somewhere(IMO people, no bashing). And as if this wasn't enough, everyday on the forum I login to such a negative atmosphere. That too in 5 months. All of this just puts me off even more.

Sorry for the rant SJ, but I guess I had too much angst stored in me. Inspite of all I said, I will still continue to tune in to Colors at 9:30pm and give my humble contribution to the TRPs hoping against hope that we might still get the brilliance we got a glimpse of, called RANGRASIYA.

But like you are feeling the angst for the show, I am feeling angst for the goddamn forum. I'm gonna use your post to not be funny, but to tell you I miss HER. You know who I mean. I miss her,and I'm mad she's gone, possibly because she saw this forum doing that early cancer-cluster bullshit of having four to five people push a thread to the first page by INCESSANTLY posting. By pushing the disagreeing posters down by ignoring or mocking them or outright mocking other topic makers and doing bitchy take downs of other people's viewpoints. I HATE internet bullying, I f**king HATE it. You and I both saw it in its finest form elsewhere.

And SJ, honestly, this time, I'm gonna bust down some doors and take down some names, I swear.

I have to say, I think I know that if we both had to go with a "fan" group, because we were 12 years old and starring in a really bad 80s movie based in High School, we'd bashfully sidle over to the Rudra side of the line. But when it comes to finding the Rudra devotees deliberately being snide and cruel to the "less fortunate" fans (and I like Paro, I do..but I like her less that Rudra--that is the embarassingly fangurly truth) I swear to God, it makes me want to take shower (alone) for liking Rudra and being in the company of those who like him and that make the forum toxic by acting like ...well, any truly mean IPK forum member back in the day.

-(a depressed, pissed off, and possibly belligerant after a long time) Monster

Hey Navin,

I wanted to comment on your thread but it's been shut down for review so I'll just post my thoughts here. I am one of those people who love BOTH Rudra and Paro. Sometimes I don't like something he does, sometimes it's Paro. Huge fan of SanIsh as well. And what disappoints me is the state of the forum in just five months. I understand that some people would like one character more than the other and that is absolutely fine. I even get the praising, the worshipping and the he/she-can-never-do-anything-wrong attitude of the fandoms. I UNDERSTAND. But where is the need to demean the other group? You do your thing, let the others do theirs. I mean, do we really have nothing else to worry about??????? How about the track? How about missing IMPORTANT characters (Mala), whatever happened to the mother-is-back track? I wish they had concentrated on the smuggling thing, was so interesting and refreshingly different. Now Tarun is not a part of RR anymore and that IMO is a big big loss. I have nothing against the other characters, heck I love them all (even Samrat). But what we need is something logical, sensible and relatable.

On top of all this, when I login to the forum, all I see is potshots being taken, loads of name-calling, groupism and as you said, bullying. Cmon people, we have so much to loose if RR doesn't get back it's brilliance and we are fighting over petty issues??? Is that really what matters?? Don't we have enough problems and issues as it is that we bring infighting to the mix? The other forum members don't even need to do anything anymore, they see quite clearly the negativity that is already present here. Did you notice that a few members who initially caused a lot of trouble are MIA these days? Why is that? Maybe because we don't need them to be at each other's throats anymore.

All I want is for the RR that captivated me to come back. It is with that HOPE that I still watch it religiously at 9:30pm inspite of everything.

Salutations SJ! My appreciation for your very correct opinion on what this show is currently showing. I detest the way the story has shifted from being an intense love story between a soldier and an innocent girl to a full blown desi vamp drama...and whats more the vamp is looking more and more ridiculous everyday!
Ah chodo yaar I will watch RR when things become more ...actually I will watch it and enjoy reading your PPPs... I know you are dissappointed but I love your PPPs ...they provide much needed relief towards the angst I am currently feeling for this show so please continue albeit under distress!

I realize that my post will not be well received here, but I'm just curious... why do you all say that RR has no story? Isn't the actual story about Rudra and Paro's love? Isn't that why we're all watching this show? I mean, there is actual development going on between them now... so what's the problem?

I don't understand because from where I'm sitting, I see a story and development. I really enjoy the show. Of course there are things that are annoying and illogical and characters that aren't used much, but every show - Indian or Western - has these elements too, it's not only RR. Sure, we all hate Laila - I didn't want her at all btw - but isn't this what this whole forum was crying for until she actually showed up? Now everyone's upset with her doing what everyone wanted her to do?

Also I remember in the initial days of this show, the times that you are all reminiscing about now, there were so many complaints. It's too dark, too intense, too boring, too slow, etc. Now everyone wants these elements back? I really don't understand this bipolarity.

I also noticed that some of you don't watch the episodes, but just read the WUs and judge. I did that occasionally because I was swayed by a lot of posts like yours, but then when I actually watched them, I enjoyed them. So... isn't it silly to make judgements on something you didn't watch (not you SJ)?

I apologize for any offense. I know and respect that everyone is entitled to their opinions and that all of you seem sick of RR. I'm sure I'll get reported and banned, but I just really want to understand what type of show you want or expect and why you continue watching a show you find ludicrous...

Bipolarity is the word. There are loyal camps that seem to root for one character, or actor, and as such.

The problem is, this isn't the original story we were promised. The two major clinchers were 1) Tejawat, 2)Rudra's mom. While Tejawat toes the fringes, the absence of Rudra's mother has only been shown from the POV of Rudra. It has resulted in emotional breakdowns, which (IMO) was ill-triggered. At other times, there are certain things that are indigestible. The fact that after 3 attempted murders, the suspect is thrown out of the house, with no legal action whatsoever. This is one of the unacceptable things. There is "story development" but it is contrived and poor in quality.

I find inconsistencies in characters. It is as if in one given week, and at one point of time, only one character can make complete sense. So in the last two episodes, I liked Maithili. Paro, as SJ puts it, is seeming immature. Rudra seems too out of element in places. While I enjoy the "romance", I cannot get these concerns out of my head- can't switch off and be happy with the intimate scenes, as it were. Having had the experience of exactly one TV show, I don't know if everything else on TV is a lesson in mediocrity or not.

As for those reading WUs and cementing opinions, I'm not sure I'll call them "silly". I have been tempted to stop watching myself, but I do it because of a group of acquaintances on IF, whose virtual company I enjoy. To the average viewer, unaware that IF exists, if the show does not make sense, they stop watching. Period. That's how viewers are lost and TRPs sink. And then when I see posts like- tips to increase TRPs, or to tweet, or to vote; I find that unfair. The story should motivate me to watch, and not such posts. I owe the show nothing other than 20 minutes of my day.

The cinematic quality that had amazed the audience at the beginning has loopholes in story telling now. If it was meant to be intense, keep it that way. There is no reason to bring in "lightness" if it makes all the past episodes pointless and the whole premise unconvincing.

Hey ttt

I've known you from the forum for over 4 years and I've never thought of you as a willful person. So I am shocked that anyone would take offense to your post (I am assuming from your tone here) and counter attack you.

The forum is made up of multiple types of personalities. Some can't separate criticism in a post from the TM and decide to launch an ad-hominem attack. It is usually when they run out of justifications or get truly desperate that they attack the TM.

I also know from experience that at times, a few forum members get a God Complex and try to rescue/save/protect other members or Sanaya or Ashish or (you know who) by defending their cause. We can never forget that praise and brickbats against the show, the actors, the story are all part of the game and really, no forum member is in charge of protecting the reputation of the leads the show. They can be ardent fans and justify their idols but must accept that not everyone is going to agree with them. Thinking otherwise is really quite juvenile.

Forum is a place for all kinds of respectfully delivered diverse views. No member has a copyright or squatters right on managing the forum behavior, or behavior of other members. That is why we have mods, a simple report should take care of a post if one thinks the post is bashing. Any forum member who thinks he/she can lead the forum trends by systematically suppressing counter voices has another thing coming.

Having said that, like you say, its entertainment, a time pass and let immaturity slide. you do what you do best and let others stew. As long as you do it without malice, willfulness or anger, its all fair.

yes smriti
it has been 4 yrs , i know since i was a newbie😆😆
and yes your guess is pretty accurate , all in the game , nothing serious , i thought i should express , and i did in the one of the safest place in the forum
forum is so amazing for that very reason , it is not possible to suppress any voice here , that is not willful or abusive
it follows these patterns , and again it is will be back to normal
different people , different opinions , different angles to look at the same thing even if it is a tele show i find these opinions and viewpoints pretty fascinating at times
and of course the quality of posts and some amazing people
thank you for reading through my long rant
appreciate it

A serious post from SJ, I hope the creatives listen to you and all of us, the entire week except for today's episode were all weak and illogical at its best, the writers seems to not know how to write romanctic scenes, the actors probably like us doesn't believe in the scenes and it shows on screen. This love story has so much potential, they need to less the kitchen politics as you said, get a side story as well, tell us about the sister-in-law's past, she is a better actress than the other woman.
I agree with every thing you have cited in your request. From your pen to the CV's ears.😆👏
