My Box Office Predictions for The Xpose

If it ain't broke, then why fix it? Despite Himmesh and Honey being popular for their music, they feel that they *NEED* to try their hand at something else. Instead of just following their path of music, they are now laying their hands on acting (again).

Both have already tried their hands at acting and burned their hands in the process. KARZZZ, DAMADAM, and RADIO are some of Himmesh's monumental box office flops. He also ended Akshay Kumar's great year at the box office in 2012 on a disappointing note with their KHILADI 786 under-performing at the box office. Bad luck was also rubbed onto Punjabi films by Honey Singh as MIRZA in 2012 took a huge opening but was an under-performer overall as it couldn't sustain despite the presence of huge Punjabi star Gippy Grewal.

The trailer of THE XPOSE became a symbol of jokes online after its release. The trailer starts off in a weird way with the actress falling off a building near the beginning. I will admit though, I liked the dialogue Himmesh says: "Tere shareer mein itna khoon nahin hoga jitna Ravikumar ek baar mein moot deta hain" 😆😆 To be completely honest, I didn't find Himesh's acting to be bad in the trailer!

I like the "in my city" song. The Dard Dilon Ke song seems to be popular though.

The opening of the film will be very poor as the theatrical trailer of the film has been the butt of jokes. The film has no chance really at the box office.

Opening Day: 1 crore net

Opening Weekend: 3+ crores net

Lifetime Collections: 5+ crores net

Overall Box Office Verdict: Disaster
