enough is enough is i am daily viewer of mahrana pratap but for last 2 3 months the show is making joke of history and today is the limit pehle unho ne akbar or pratap ko milwaya ek dusre se le kin sach to yeh hai ki woh dono kabhi mile hi nahi thik hai man bhi liya ki yeh TRP ke khatir kiya ja raha hai par yeh sab kya akbar ke character ko aise portray kyu kiya ja raha hai!! akbar bohut cruel or merciless tha jawani mai sahi hai [ar woh kabhi bhi 'darr' ki sharukh khan ki tarah stalker nahi tha sirf pratap ko ucha dikhane ke liye yeh log bakwas pe bakwas dikhaye ja raha hai!! pratap akbar se sword fight aur hand to hand mai zyada mahir hai iska koi proof nahi hai!! history sab jante hai ki akbar archery spear fighting hand to hand combat aur sword fight ka master tha le kin yeh kahi nahi likha hai ki woh pratap se hara tha history ko distort kiya ja raha hai aise!! as a history student i can't accept it!! sach to yeh hai ki akbar ek bohut accha strategist tha jisne apne 90% battles apne strategy ke liye jite hai!! agar pratap itne hi beer yoddha hai jab akbar ne chittor pe hamla kiya tha 1567 pe tab apne bap ke sath bhaga kyu tha!! lada kyu nahi!! le kin mai janta hu akbar ko bura dikhane ke liye yeh log fir se aise hi kuch dikhaenge ki pratap ko zor zabardasti chittor se le jaya gaya woh bhagna nahi chahta tha!!😡 akbar and pratap both are legends!! but iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki pratap akbar se aache the tab to mai yehi keh sakta hu akbar pratap se aache the kyu ki akbar ne pratap ko jang me haraya uska gawa hai proof hai le kin pratap ne haraya akbar ko aise koi proof nahi hai!!

At least MP is trying to stick to its overall feel and story. They are shows with characters share only the historical names who run around like an aimless headless chickens.

It's true that the show is distorting history a little bit for the viewers, but in the end the show is called Bharat Ka Veer Putra MAHARANA PRATAP which is why they are showing Pratap better than Akbar.

the cvs of the jodha akbar is showing a spoiler at the start of the show that is not connected historically!! but still they are showing the real akbar in that show!! they showed akbar how merciless akbar was at the beginning and his gradual change and his abolition of jizya and taking disguise to roam among people to know abt their prblms even a episode where he saves a widow form beaten to death was true it was true event that he legalised widow remarraige!! jodha akbar is not distorting any characters and events at least to show someone great which never happened they are only showing what happened and how he become great!! bt in MP what shit jst to show this guy great they are distorting history!! 😡😡 agar pratap itne hi great the to history distort karke dikhane ki koi zarurat nahi hai!

i am not saying this because of i am big fan of MP but i think if you see in history mugal had big defeat in 1558 in rajputana this one is trying to cover that area. and this show is about so story is going to be around him.

OK I agree that here they make Akbar a little more black, which I too don't like at all.Hated it ! But , You cannot say that akbar is unbeatable to pratap in fighting. Bcoz he hardly fought in the battlefield ,only send the commanders to fight for him. which i understand is necessary ,since he could not risk his life. he had an empire to run. Many say that he knew that it may risk his life if he fought aamne samne with pratap. please don't misunderstand. i don't mean to downgrade akbar. but it seems to me that he always been more of a strategist [ like CEO of a company that appointed people to do his job ,like one of our forum member Rati once mentioned ] than a hardcore warrior. And which is not a bad thing. But like bitblue say mughals did suffer defeat in rajputana historically and i guess thats what they are trying to cover. here. And THIS SHOW is ABOUT MAHARANA PRATAP . So obviously it will show in the favour of MP. But BEFORE coming to any conclusion , i request you to read more about Maharana Pratap and understand why he is considered so great. But i agree about Phool kanwar fiasco. they totally ruin jalal's character by showing this .Dragging a girl between the rivalry of two legendary Larger than life figures of our history, is very UNCOOL .And which is unnecessary becz MAHARANA don't need such stupid cringe worthy track to glorify him. He IS great with or without it. Anyway, THE OTHER SHOW you mentioned , is treating Pratap like trash. What about that ? Considering his courage ,determination , sacrifice , loss in his LONE STAND AGAINST Akbar , THAT SHow fail to give respect to this out and out POSITIVE charcter of history. OK, thats said , i agree that This show could have treated jalal with little more decency then it did [ for example,this phool kanwar fiasco and jalal's treatment of bairam khan is his character butchery] But other than that they actually do an AVERAGE justice to the character .. i agree ..they are just ruining Akbar's character to glorify Pratap. this is not right.both are legends ..why they need to disrespect another to glorify the other one? this is not done.
