Alia Bhatt, youngest to enter the Rs 100 crore club

Two years after beginning her career with Student Of The Year, Alia Bhatt has managed to score Rs 100-crore solo heroine hit with 2 States. And she is also the youngest to enter the club at just 21.

"For Alia, it's a great achievement as Deepika Padukone took six years and 14 films to score her first solo 100-crore film (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) while Priyanka Chopra took even longer with a waiting period of eight years and 28 films, before Don 2 happened. While Deepika was 27, Priyanka was 29 when they enjoyed this achievement," an industry insider says.

Others like Katrina Kaif and Kareena were also in their late 20s when they scored their first 100-crore hit and it took them nine years to get there. With such huge figures at such an early age, Alia is now riding on huge expectations, especially from her next film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya among her other upcoming projects. But at the rate at which she is going, it doesn't look like she would disappoint.
