"Style for me is comfort" - Surbhi Jyoti
The cute, pretty and very talkative Surbhi Jyoti who is currently seen playing the immensely popular role of Zoya' in Zee TV's Qubool Hai shares with TheTellyTimes her take on style and fashion!
How would you describe your style?
Style for me is comfort. I never follow any such style trends but just wear what I am comfortable in and what I am confident of wearing.
What are you most comfortable in?
When it comes to informal clothes, it has to be jeans and a T shirt, but in case of formals, I love wearing sarees!
Which clothing brands do you prefer?
Zara is an all time favorite and otherwise I pick any other brand that suits me.
What will you never be caught dead in?
I hate polka dots and never wear anything which has polka dots on it!
What is a major fashion blunder for you?
The 60s and 70s had these very weird tight suits, don't remember what they were called but according to me they shouldn't have ever been a trend in fashion and hope they don't come back!
If given a chance, with whom would you like to exchange your wardrobe?
It would be Sushmita Sen as I feel that she is very stylish.
Which is the most prized possession in your wardrobe?
A pendant and earrings which were gifted to me by my father are very precious for me.
What is your favorite shopping destination in the city and abroad?
I have only been to South Africa and really loved the clothes and shoes over there which were bright neon colors and looked very sexy! In India, I can shop at any mall and again, Zara is a favorite. I also really love shopping for different kinds of bags and shoes. I am actually a shopaholic!
What is the next thing on your shopping list?
A new phone which will be a blackberry again, as I just can't seem to part with a blackberry.
