You have hit the bulls eye with this one.. its the lack of motivation that writers feel when they read one-liners or mostly nothing..

I have a very simple solution to this which the IF-team needs to take it up, make it mandatory for every member who accesses a chapter to leave a comment after, its quite possible esp if the writer chooses to make the post "members-only" then members who login can easily be made to do so... but hah! its a long method that would probably take ages to implement..that is if they listen in the first place!

The least a person can do is acknowledge that hey! I was here, read your work and this is what I thought.. Bas.. how you relay that is up to you.. simple words..long novels (like myself😆)

I think we need sermon delivers like you to infiltrate the young minds of silent readers😃

See, your heart's wishes broadcasted to me on their own accord😆

Your solution is also one of good logic and makes things smoother. But it is up to the forum team to take notice. This isn't as big an issue as it has been blown up to be. Only a little understanding and cohesiveness will make things amicable for both, readers as well as writers!

Long novels like yourself are incredibly welcome by any author, it is a dream come tru to have such an intricate criticism to the story Mishty.

Haha
Sermon delivers like me only come out once in a blue moon. You see, articles of worth are rare in this world😆😆
Joking.

It as really not meant as a lecture or something; just reaching out to them.

Hey!
I don't know about others but I am not here to garner support or anything. Neither do i call for agreeing to me.
This was, as I have mentioned in the previous comment; a way of reaching out to those readers who feel they cannot comment.

Hey... actually it was ur way heavy title that bought me here... U are right i haven't read any of your work but i know that u write... Loved the note... thats very true that us readers should comment on updates..U guys really work hard for a single update...
I do try to comment a few words if not a whole paragraph.. but for some writers I write more than few words or even a few lines...that's because i guess they deserve more than others... they have a powerful theme, twist, story going on which pushes me to write more than a few words... but other writers should also understand... that the reader want something new in every update... so that it remains stuck thinking what is going to happen. (No offense to any of the writers.. just my view)
From now onwards if i don't like an update... instead of writing one or two words... I will definitely write"Hey I am was here and read ur work and hit the like button too.." Lolss...

Hey!

As I mentioned, the heavy title was only to bug 😉

It is not a readers VS writers I am trying to make here but good to know that readers are coming up to becoming active and letting their presence be felt.

And I agree with your stance of liking one story more than the other. In fact you cannot compare the likes or length of comments between two stories of even the same writer. And it was never about the length but that spirit of being there and letting know

From now onwards if i don't like an update... instead of writing one or two words... I will definitely write"Hey I am was here and read ur work and hit the like button too.." Lolss...

Ha ha
Great way to being diplomatic😆
