Anandi's anger as a mother is justified, but if Shiv's situation to be considered he wasn't at fault.

Many women don't even call their husbands when they're at work,. It's their way of supporting their husbands. Though her anger was right in her place, but that doesn't mean she was right in saying that she won't trust Shiv anymore in responsibilities related to her son Amol. Since Amol is a sharing responsibility of both the mother and father.

A mother does not think logically when her trust is betrayed. A husband like shiv will understand and manao her.

Since this is a TV serial - they will show Anandi getting angry and saying that she will not expect anyone (read Shiv) to take care of Amol. In real life, the mother will feel more guilty knowing well that the husband was busy with a major issue at his workplace - at least it was like this with me. Whenever my husband was supposed to pick up the children from school, I would call him to ensure that they reached home in time. A mother - howsoever busy she is - will remember about her children - it is not so with the father - especially for someone who is working as DC and there is an emergency case.
