Richa: Did Sony do the right thing ?

Hi,

Is it really appropriate of Sony to show the tiff between Richa and Prashant to add masala to their show and increase TRPs ? Nobody really knows how big or small the issue may have been and it may have been exaggerated by Sony to increase viewership. Even if they had to show it, why to make such a big deal out of it ? Because the problem that has been created now, is that a lot of people are already perceiving her in a negative sense and this may definitely affect the voting patterns. What do u guys feel abt it ? If so many people just on IF are totally becoming against her, how abt the rest of India ?

Showing the besuras and weirdos is one thing, but showing some of the top 28 contestants in such a negative sense, I feel shouldn't be done !!!!

I feel sony did the right thing by showing wat type of person this girl is . And as far as sony is concerned they did not blow anything out of proportion .They usually do show the scenes behind the stage . There is nothing to add masala as they showed watever happened .
And as far as this girl is concerned I think she should be kicked out in the dual round !

wow ... u seem to be really upset with her .... I understand being humble is good ... But i don't feel she did it since she has a lot of pride in her, but instead I feel she didn't have enough confidence in her partner, whether he would be able to correct her properly ... If she was so proud, she wouldn't have gone to the other guy in the first place to ask his opinion whether she was singing properly or not .... Also, Sony showed a 5-minute edited version of what happenend ... maybe they just didn't get along with each other properly and it can happen to anyone .... I feel people are reacting very harshly towards her 😔 Even in II-2 I remember, Amey was so shocked to see the way Sony projected his attitude towards Ravi ... Also, the way Antara was projected as to being very upset at the judges after their verdict and she had to clarify in the next episode as to how they provoked her to come up with some strong reactions ..... I mean come on, it's a TV show ... they are pitting against SRGMP and VOI, they need people to be glued to their show ... they are trying to spice up things ....

Sony is just trying to add more masala we have seen episodes of last yr where they edit parts to show that 2 contestants had a problem, but in reality they are friends. Don't really believe what u watch on this show cos behind all this hungama there are 2 innocent people who are just unaware of all the crap that Sony is doing to gain TRP.

I think discussions about Richa have been going on for long.... give her a break. 😊

I Think Rich is very-very young and childish...
She is not ready for this presure, but i love her singing so let her try and learn things ...she will be fine

😆 wow. yea u seem mad bout wat u happened but i totally agree..her reality shows who janta can vote for and who for not..im pretty much disappointed wit richa😕..cuz itz not about mirch masala..but u culd actually c her facial expressionz..ima now all 4 suhit, mei, and dis other guy..who i dun noe his name 😆

Very true!

She is very immature and kind of innocent. She is uncomfortable being in the company of Prashanth due to her preconceived notions of people of different ethnicity. With more exposure and time, I feel she will grow up. Meanwhile she is a fabulous singer.
