Taani slapped Rey as he was going utter wrong about her parents. Feeling horrible, she visited Rey at Jatin's office. (Jatin-PA of Rey). Rey was on the third floor in a terrace. Unexpectedly, Rey kissed her.

Taani's heart stopped. She looked up at him and gasped. She responded him. She responded him while kissing. Rey smirked down at her. She stared at him. She was breathless. Her lungs were screaming for oxygen but she couldn't breath.

She was again being kissed, without her permission. And, the main thing was, she responded.

He grinned down at her and...

He grinned down at her and tightened his arms around her. A soft breeze touched her skin, making her shiver in his arms. Her soft locks played in air. Her eyes slightly met with his, they were still close. Their noses were touching, slightly. Rey eyes were fixed on her face, taking every inch for her. His grin altered as her eyes met his. Those brown orbs were expressing only one thing, sadness. His arms got more tight around her. Taani didn't know, what to say. Her hand was still clutching his shirt, in fist. Her heart was thudding loudly in her ribcage. They didn't broke there intense staring.

Cliicckkk! Clllicckkk! Cllliickkk!!

Sudden noise bought them back to reality. Rey blinked, last time, he looked towards her while frowning. He quickly leaned back and looked down from the terrace, circling his arms around her waist, dragging her with him. Taani was too much stunned to even react. She let him drag her. She looked down blankly, her eyebrows knotted in confusion. As suddenly, she spotted many cars parked down, bunches of crowds were all over, in front of the entry gate. In crowd, she could see some people were having cameras, exactly pointing towards them only. Taani exhaled a shaky breath and looked up to Rey, who was staring right back at her with a gentle smile on his lips.

He pulled her towards him, her side was touching his chest slightly. He nuzzled his nose in her hair. Taani could feel his hot breath on her earlobe.

" Be ready for surprises. Smile, darling." He whispered.

Her eyes snapped to him. He smiled as he ran his finger over her arm, making her extremely uncomfortable. They may have kissed. But, it wasn't love. It was just show. She gulped as he leaned and kissed her cheek. Her eyes widen as he pressed his lips to her cheek. Gathering courage, she pushed him lightly as he was invading her personal space. There was too much physical contact. And after, being kissed without asking, she has learned to be alert. No that, just few minutes before, she responded to his kiss. That doesn't, she will let him do it again and again. Past times, she was unaware about it. From now, she has her all senses up.

He raised an eyebrow and smirked at her. "Don't do this, in front cameras." He whispered. The warning didn't go unnoticed by her. She just looked away. She lifted her eyes and found, Jatin standing there, staring at them, intently. When he looked at her, he shook his head and motion to Rey to make an appearance in front of the media. Rey nodded and he walked down with Taani, by his side.

Two masculine, tall men were standing either side of the door. The door was closed and restraining the noise to come in. Taani gulped as both of the robots i.e. bodyguards turned to them as soon as she and Rey came near to the entry door. They both nodded at each other and in a fraction of second, they opened the door, revealing the bunch of people, with their infinite questions. Suddenly, Taani felt like she is frozen. She could feel the cold sweat coating her body. Rey gave a squeeze to the curve of her waist, gaining her attention.

She lifted her head and looked at him. Rey just stared and then slightly pushed her with him. The massive crowd was roaring at them, demanding answers of numerous questions. Flashes were flicking on them. Thought, the sun was blazing on them, they didn't bulge. It was hot sunny day. But, the crowd was concerned only about the two figures standing in front of them. Taani's body was slightly shaking. At party, there were reporter. But, since it was celebrity party, only few were allowed by security. Here, this was unexpected. She was just blank about her surrounding. She could feel Rey's arm was around her waist, tightly.

The last only thing she heard that,

" We are officially going to get engaged in coming 2 days. Well, without me telling you, you all will anyway figure it out."

The some of reporters chuckled. Rey turned to Taani and again kissed her cheek. She looked up at him and smiled slightly as her sense had came back. Every camera was angled towards them. Rey planted a kiss on her forehead and grabbed her hand, intertwined their fingers.

" I have some plans, with my fiance."

With that, he pulled her with him, in breath squeezing crowd. The bodyguards came at their rescue and somehow managed to make a way till the car. Rey opened the door and let Taani slid in and then he slid in with the wave of the hand to the crowd. The doors shut with a thud and the driver accelerated the car. In few minutes, they were all free from the noise, crowd, continuous questions. And, there was only thing left that was SILENCE...

Taani was in the farthest corner of the car. Her half of the body was pressed on the door. Driver glanced at her then at Rey who was texting on his phone. Then, he re concentrated on driving. Soon, the car came to a halt in front of the huge palace. Both, Rey and Taani slide out of the car.

They both entered in the palace, silently. But, stopped in their track, as they felt glares on them. Taani looked at each of them.

Swayam and Sharon were sitting on a one couch, Gayatri quickly stood up as soon as she and Rey came in front of them. Swayam lifted his head, as Gayatri cleared her throat. Sharon just remained quite, she kept looking at Swayam worriedly. As if, any minute, he will explode.

" What the hell you are playing, Rey?" Swayam hissed.

Taani flinched back slightly. Swayam turned to her and stared at her, analyzing her scared face for a moment, then turned to Rey. Taani had never seen anyone thins angry. Exception, Rey Singhania. But, she never expected to see same fury in any other human being. She gulped as Swayam's glare harden on Rey. From the corner of his eye, Rey saw that Taani flinched back. Like, she was expecting that by backing away she will just vanish into the air. At least, her action and expression told him this.

He turned his attention to Swayam. Generally, Swayam was a calm person. If things got over, like too much over, then only he will be this angry. Rey kept a straight face and walked towards the beer counter, knowing every pair of eye was fixed on his back of the head.

Sharon shook her head and dared to step up. " Look, Rey.. You have to stop this... This.. All the shit." She exclaimed. Rey just chuckled and bought the tip of the bottle to his lips, letting the liquid run down through his throat into his system.

He was taking continuous sips, but suddenly, the bottle was snatched from his grip and in a minute, it shattered on the floor into little pieces. Rey's head snapped towards the person who dared to do this. Swayam standing there, breathing heavily.

"Bass.. Hua.. Rey! Bhot ho gaya.. Band kar yeh sab.. Isse.." Swayam pointed towards Taani, " Saza deke kuch nhi hone wala. You can't punish Raj through Taani." Swayam shouted at him.

Rey just shrugged and walked towards sofa and plopped down. "Ahhh.." He sighted as his eyes fell on Taani. She was all nervous, biting her lips, rubbing her arms, shakily. He leaned forwards and rubbed his face.

"Dekh..Re-..." Swayam was just going to continue, when Rey jumped on his feet and turned to face Swayam with blazing fury. His fingers were curled into fist.

"Look. For the last time, I am telling you all. You are invited to the every ceremony of mine and HER." His head snapped towards her. Taani quickly looked down, unable to meet anyone's eyes.

"It's your choice. If you want to come, you are welcome. If not... then.." Rey trailed off, hanging the sentence let them figure it out by their own.

Swayam rubbed his face wildly. "I don't know, where the hell old Rey has gone. I think, he is dead." Swayam whispered.

Rey narrowed his eyes on Swayam. Swayam just shook his head while greeting his teeth. Rey ignored most of them and started heading towards his room, jogging the stairs.

"I hope, you come to your sense soon. Otherwise, you will regret for the entire life." Swayam said it loud, making Rey stop in his pace. Swayam cast a last glance towards Rey then He took Sharon's hand and started dragging her with him.

He stopped near Taani. He just stared at her with a blank face, making her nervous. She looked away. Sharon tried to soothe Swayam but he didn't listen.

" If you ever meet your Bhai and Bhabhi, send them my regards and thanks for ruining my best friend's life." Swayam spat angrily and then dragged Sharon out of the palace.

Taani shakily looked towards Gayatri who was looking back at her. A complete helpless expression on her features.

12:30pm.

Rey tossed his blanket aside and stepped out from the bed. He couldn't sleep properly. The room reminded her so much of Kia. Her fake cry, her fake I love You.' It reminded him that how foolish he was acting. What a great idiot he was at that time. The memories were only adding fuel in his revenge plan. He was becoming more determined about the revenge plan. He walked out of his room and jogged down the stairs.

The living room had no light. He switched on the light, he headed towards the beer collection. Something caught his attention, he took some steps back and stared down.

She was lying peacefully on couch. She was curled into a ball and was wearing the same attire from the morning. Her cheeks were red. Rey frowned as he stared down at her face. She had her own room, why she is sleeping here anyway?

His nostrils flared, he curled his fingers into fist and turned towards beer collection. He picked up a bottle and plopped down on the opposite sofa to sofa where Taani was sleeping. He took continuous sips and panted. He stared at the woman who was lying in front of him, nothing but having a very peaceful sleep. And, here he is struggling to sleep.

She is the one, who should be struggling. But, here the case is all different. His jaw ticked hard. He held the bottle in his vision level, little away from his body. He looked at Taani's sleeping form then looked at bottle. In an instant, he removed his fingers which were circling around the bottle. The bottle hit the ground and scattered into pieces.

The harsh noise disturbed Taani's sleep, she jerked up from her sleep and sat up. She blinked and groaned as the harsh sound, stunned her ears. She finally adjusted to the light and looked around, and then...froze.

She blinked at him as he kept staring at her. She completely lost her sleep and gained her sense back. She averted her eyes from him and looked down at the scattered bottle on the floor.

Rey leaned back, enjoying her discomfort. This was kind of...amusing to him. From the first meet, she was all challenging. He himself felt a solid aura around her. But, now...

He was on the right track. Breaking his sister, emotionally. He smirked and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

This engagement stuff was actually getting on his nerves. He was planning this for Kia and Him. But, that bitch didn't deserved him. So now, he is here, planning his engagement and marriage with a complete unknown person.

He had to kiss her in public, smile at her lovingly and all the drama, acting. Well, Kissing was a different one though. It's only memory made him uneasy in his heart. But, then his heart becomes a solid like a stone. Not granting permission to any emotion. And according to him, that was the best.

He looked at Taani whose eyes were dropping down. By sitting only, she was sleeping. He stood up and walked towards, standing in front of her. Taani heard some shuffling around her and opened her lazy eyes. For a day, she had enough emotional stress. Her body was screaming for rest. All her cell were doing a very low job. But, in front of him, she is another, HELPLESS.

She looked up, a hand waiting for her. Her eyebrows knotted in confusion. Rey took his hand back as she looked up at him. He put his hand in his pockets of his tracks.

" Go to sleep. I don't want to damage my reputation by presenting a weird looking fiance."

Taani gulped, it hurts. She felt a pang in her heart. She quickly looked down, on the carpet. Suddenly, cold fingers wrapped around her slender arm and she was on her foot, standing, staring at lazy brown orbs, which were staring right back at her.

He didn't say anything. He walked towards her room while she was struggling to keep up with him. He was dragging her. Not that dragging, he did on the terrace. He clicked the door open and made her to enter into her room. Only, night stand was on. It was enough light to lead her towards her bedroom. He removed his fingers from her arm. Some red marks were appearing. Taani unconsciously, rubbed the spot where his fingers were digging into her skin, a minute ago. His eyes stayed on her arm and then they fluttered on her face.

After satisfying her skin, she looked up to meet his eyes. But, she quickly looked away. Her body couldn't take it anymore. Moreover, her mind was all tired. Without any word, she lay down on her bed, pulled the blanket on her. He was standing in the path of light illuminating from night stand. His shadow was on her.

He looked down her, her eyes were closed, her fist was clutching the corner of the blanket. With a last glance, he turned and left the room. Vanishing his shadow from top of her.

Taani opened her eyes as she started blankly stared to nothing particular.

She was getting engaged in two days.

Next Morning.

9am.

Numerous cars were parked in the garage of palace. Entire palace was buzzing with murmurs from the each corner. Workers were putting the light chains on the walls of the palace. The most of the crew of Reeyansh Singhania was running from here to there.

Rey groaned and stretched. Sunshine peeked through the white curtains. Rey somehow opened his eyes and sat on the bed. He looked around the room. He slept in guest room. He crackled his neck to the side, making the noise of cracking of bones. He arched his back and stretched, bulging his muscles. He sighted as a knocked boomed in his dead silent room. He walked towards door and peeled open it.

Jatin was standing there with his regular crew of makeup, dresser, etc. Rey nodded let them in. Realization sink down, he was getting engaged in coming 48 hours.

At 5:30pm.

A tall woman with a weird pink and orange dyed haired was standing, behind Taani. Curling her lock, very efficiently. The entire morning was this busy. When she woke up, already some of the unknown girls were in her room, busy in taking out their various kits, dresses.

Taani stared straight in mirror, watching the weird girl pinning her hair. The girl ruffled some of the curls, setting some in position. The girl sighted and clapped her hands and picked up her hair kit and walked in the direction of other corner of the room. Another girl approached Taani and started doing her nails.

ENGAGEMNT.

Bloody HELL...!!!

A girl always plans about her engagement, marriage. But, Taani had never imagined it. She never planned it. She was just focused on her career. She never imagine, getting marriage. Well, if she had some image in her mind, 100% this wasn't the picture which is currently in front of her.

After sitting uncomfortable for at least 5 hours, Taani was ready from head to toe. But, with an empty heart and blank face. There was a party before the engagement day. Actually, celebs don't need reason to party, anyway.

She walked out of her room, leaving girls who were preparing for tomorrow. The living room was strangely quite. She entered and stopped in her walk.

Rey looked up as he heard the heel tapping on the floor. He looked up and found Taani standing there. His eyes raked over her outfit. Then, to her face. Of course, dancer's body is something which is very noticeable. The white lace dress was covering her body. Her flat toned stomach was imaginable under the cloth. It was fitting at her every curve. It hardly reached till her mid thigh. Rey watched as Taani took a little step back. Taani felt his eyes on her. Already, the short dress was making her uncomfortable. But, once she can deal with that. But, dealing with dress in an uncomfortable company was something, she wasn't looking for.

Rey stood up and walked towards her. Again, taking every inch of her form in his mind. He was sure, the horny people from this industry are going to pounce on her in the party.
