Veera was always a chirpy kid, bubbly full of life who often did some silly things and yet she had always been a mature soul. She recognised that her mother never treated her equal to her brother, she accepted it as well as her young heart could and made peace with it thinking her mother loved her but didn't show it. Ranvi more than made up for it and Veera was happy.
She went on with her education without any knowledge of the sacrifices her family made. For her, she was just that kid who went out of the village to study.
Out came the truth that she is Ranvi's half sister and the world shattered around her. She was eternally grateful to her Beeji and brother for wanting to hide the truth form her, for loving her so much. I remember my dear friend rogerrocks' post a few months back where she talked about adopted kids and step siblings and the emotional baggage they carry.
From that day, adding to her love for her mother and brother, was this gratitude to them and the realisation that she could probably never repay them.
It was a combination of love and gratitude, which made her do all the things she did. Many thought she was interfering and there certainly were moments when I too felt she had no right to be taking that level of interest in Ranvi and Gnjan's life but she was justified. Frankly, any family member would do the same if they thought a couple in the house were having problems.( A tad bit more dramatic here since this is Television).
Finally, yesterday, she could let go a little. She felt she did something which helped her brother get the one thing he's ever wanted : Gunjan's love.
Look at how she's grown. She didn't mention Gunjan or Baldev's involvement in her learning the truth of her birth and not because she had to hide it for Ranvi's happiness but because she truly bears no ill will towards Gunjan anymore. If at all, she probably will be glad that Gunjan took that step.
For Gunjan, Karma has unofficially laid foundation. If yesterday's episode is any indication then all the predictions of Gunjan being unhappy with RanVeera's relationship, are gonna come true.
Gunjan won't like the fact that Veera will always be Ranvi's priority. Always and that won't change. It is a different bond. Ranvi tended to Veera like a mother and for a mother, child is the highest priority. Gunjan needs to come to terms with it.
Baldev, on the other hand is really perceptive. He knows that for Veera, Ranvi will be the most important one. I am sure he won't resent it because he understands it. Its a part of her and he wouldn't wanna change that.
Overall, a great episode. One that I've been waiting for since a long time.
Special mention to Digangana who was surprisingly good in parts, Sneha Wagh was brilliant.
But the million dollar question is, Why is Shivin so awkward? He seems to be very camera conscious. Body language is off😕
