Had she married Suryabhaan too, she would have been a nobody. It is only due to Akbar that the world even remembers her.
Don't worry all this will be forgotten once the serial is over.
No one can give credits for Sachin's achievements in cricket to his wife, however supportive she is. Kasturba Gandhi was also a supportive factor in Gandhiji's life. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi would have become 'Mahatma', would have changed world history with her or without her. Akbar's achievements too are due to his ability and goodness only. He shall always be considered Great as he was a great man himself.

Unfortunately, there are some people especially young generation who knows nothing about their history who will believe whats portrayed in the show. I think we already have many good examples from this forum.

I say this becoz this is the point that I had raised after TE's outburst on 4th April - when Jodha continued to sing her song of Vachan - and today I once more wonder, what is greater? - a blind need to follow the Vachan aka 'Praan jaaye per vachan na jaaye' - or a need for Karuna in all the decisions that one makes?

If keeping a Vachan is causing pain and wrecking havoc, is keeping that Vachan dharma??? It is said that Vachan and Pratigya are the branches of the Tree called Dharma whose roots are Karuna - then can the tree and its branches survive if the roots get rot - can Vachan be above Karuna? - Can a promise be above compassion? Can anything be above Love?

Adi this is exactly what Krishna said in Mahabharat yesterday to Dau Balaram! Tumne woh dekha kya? 😃
Poora Mahabharat huya vachan ke karan ab yehan poora amar prem kahani hoga vachan ke karan! 🥱 Karuna, woh kaun chiriya ka naam hai? Yes pity for nirdosh pashu, slaves, woman power, child marriages, servants, bugs, insects, strangers are allowed except on husband! This is the moral of the story here!

so they should stick to their believe becoz the fact is history cant b changed. And the very fact of controversial name makes me doubt about things which kekta maiiyya is showing. How many people were aware about jodha before release of movie?? I was not, I only saw name of marium zamani in my 7th std as salim's mother n nothing was mentioned regarding her contribution in the making of akbar the great. So ekta maiyya can play with history as much as possible but the fact is in every school children will grow learning that jalal was akbar the great becoz of his deeds n different thinking. He is the only mughal emperor I liked from core of my heart becoz of his refoems in field of child marriage, slavery n sati system. But ekta maiyya is giving these reforms through jodha ,forgetting the fact that her aim was to show relation b/w akbar and his first hindu wife.

I dont think she cares much for history. She has distorted history and butchered the characters. She is a business woman and I guess profits is the main thing that matters to her.

For me it's "karuna" anyday...yeah,it's not rite to break a promise..But think twice before give promise to anyone..In one of the initial episode, jodha says, mein vachan deti hai, jo koi bhi aapke gahne uthare hai, hum uska sar aapke charanon pe arpit karenge..Later when jalal and jodha visited temple, and jalal fulfilled dat promise..agar jalal ne aisa nai kiya, toh jodha woh vachan ka kya karthey..?? promises r not meant to hurt othres..if a person is suffering becoz of ur promise, it's better to break the promise..

yeah, its like Jodha sells her vachans free free free to anyone who wants (like Sujamal) and also to anyone who doesn't want (like Ambe Maa) 😆

thanks. ekta conviniently placed everything on jalal's shoulder. she forgot that till he reached a certain age, he didnt take decisions. he was just sitting on the throne for the sake of sitting. he was good person and that is quite visible in how he dealt with hemu. some people started distorting history by saying he killed an unconscious hemu while history says he didnt and refused to do so. it was BK. he was even opposed to forced conversion and rapes in malva. moreover since when did jodha become an expert in everything. a woman who has no idea abt politics or has never taken a tough decision in her life or has never experiences any hardships of life, knows more about life than jalal whose life was and still is literally one big agnipareeksha? jalal got the title akbar after he started ruling by himself and started making his own decisions. a day will come when ekta will completely butcher jalal's character by making him a puppet and jodha telling him what to do coz obviously she knows better.😲. end message of this show would be that history forgot jodha because she was a woman. ekta forgets that history does not discriminate and ladies like laxmibai, padmavati etc are classic e.g. for that.
