What's your opinion for this week's show

The weekend is here, which means we have already seen an episode and shall see one more(18^th & the 19^th), of the current most talked about show – the Zee SRGMP C2007 challenge. 😛

Last week we saw a lot of drama and hardly any memorable performance to talk about.So, how about this week's show? Was it any different than last week's, did it match up with your expectations, was it rocking, what was the surprise package?

Performance wise, this week's performance was a lot better than last week's.

drama wise... there is a very strong vibe between Asha ji & HR. Its like Asha ji is just waiting for a chance to indirectly mock HR.

In the coming days, we will see a lot of unease between VS and HR.

Performance wise, Gurpreet was really good, and so was Poonam. Somehow, whenever i hear this song post C2005 days, I remember Twinkle. I think she had performed really well.poonam was also good, but Twinkle was a little better.

Mauli performed well today, but she was a little less than Poonam.😭

I liked Mussharats performance.

I found HR's comment on versatility really funny and very "non composer" like. One starts in a versatile range trying out all kinds of songs and then with days specialising in a genre.its not the othetr way round.Unless a budding singer has tried out all the types how does he even know which type he will be suitable for?

Million times better in comparison to last weeks.
Poonam was geeeewate!!!
Forgot his name, but HR's guy was, I found, slightly better than Harpreet.

overall today's episode was good

judges wise it was Ok specially Asha ji, she is just fantastic as a judge👏

Mauli Dave disappointed a lot, she sang as she was talking😕 I think she is perfect for item songs like babu ji etc but her voice is not much suitable for other songs but expecting that she will do better in coming performances😃

but Harpreet Deol just Rockeddddddddddddd😳

Suny I think, it is Harpreet !😆 I am so aweful with names and get confused all te time...there was a "preet" in the end , that much I know, it must be harpreet,

Jury & Mentors

Asha ji is no doubt a very well respected, no nonsense jury with good knowledge of music. Her advices are constructive and she is always polite to contestants too. I also agree that we don't want these contestants to get scared away in the initial rounds. But I wouldn't argue if everything old is gold and one who is old has more knowledge.

I personally loved Mussarat's rendition of 'Tujhe dekh' and I agree with HR on singing from the same genre in initial rounds. I thought Vishal's criticism was unwarranted at least in the initial rounds, let Mussarat sing in few more rounds. I don't support HR' aggressive reaction either. He went too far😃. Asha ji got caught in all this and immediately picked on Mussarat. I think it is time she let go of her gripe towards HR😛. She has achieved a lot in her life and her picking on HR just doesn't go well with the audience. But HR interfering in jury's decision is needless. Very HR-ish😆. He takes everything to heart too soon.

Contestants

Girls were good but boys were better. This episode was much better in terms of sur and voice👏.

Mauli: I liked Mauli's stage presence. She was good but I guess expectations were too high so she was under everyone's microscopic eyes.

Amrita: She was bad. Totally out of sur. Her voice is good but that's all.

Poonam: She was good but sounded like a clone of Asha B. Otherwise I liked her song. I found her make up and hair too garish.

Saberi: She was a bit out of sur but has potential.

Mussarat: I just loved this guy. He was very good. Comment on genre was unwarranted. Just because someone sings in sufiana andaz doesn't mean that he sings in only one genre. A genre is romantic, sad and so on and that way he was good both time. I think he has lot of potential.

Harpreet: For me there was a tie between Mussarat and Harpreet. He chose a tough song and sang very well.👏

Desh Gaurav: Not so good.

Junaid: I liked his rendition though he sounded a bit nasal. I would want to hear him more and hope he sings different next time.

it was soo much better than last week.. less DRAMA
haha i love asha's and HR's argument. i was cracking up when asha moved her face n they showed that twice
that guy from bapida was good. i don't know his name.
hahah supirsely all the judges had postive attitude today.
& Sumedha from josh looks like Rachael from One tree hill.
i love asha's quote from today "i am the judge, they can't stop me" when she told musraat to sing again different song.

To sum it up in a word, today's show was "eh" 😕

The quality of singing was at a higher level than that of last week's group. However, most lacked energy, emotion and/or sur in their singing today.

I won't get into my view on individual singers. Suffice it to say that my views are, as usual, rather the opposite of the majority's view. 😆

Aditya's enterance performance lacked the energy present in the "original" version. Other than that, he sang well.

It seems the scriptwriters have finally heard our plea and changed things about with Adi's lines. Good! 😊 That was about the only thing I liked in today's show 😆
