The beautiful and petite Sanjeeda
Sheikh is wooing all and sundry
with her acting skills in Star Plus'
latest offering Ek Hasina Thi
(Cinevistaas).
The thriller show, set in the
eastern megapolis of Kolkata, has
Sanjeeda playing a brave,
manipulative, intelligent and
revengeful girl Durga. The actress
is glad to be part of the show
and has been getting
tremendous response from the
masses.
Says Sanjeeda, "I am happy to be
part of this project. The best part
about my character is that it is
multi-faceted. Durga doesn't
mind stepping over the
boundaries of the right' and flirt
with the darker side, but she
always remains within the
confines of good never losing
touch with her humanitarian self.
And the kind of response I am
getting from the masses is
incredible and it pushes me to
work harder and give best in my
every shot."
"The show is not only about
revenge but there are
innumerable twists with many
stories to unfold which will keep
audiences glued. It has all the
talented actors and there is lot of
positive energy which keeps all
of us lively," she adds.
How was it shooting in Kolkata?
"I never thought that Kolkata
would look so beautiful in the
show; the serial has really been
shot well. We will soon go to
Kolkata to shoot there as we
want to make it look real and
natural," Sanjeeda answers.
How is it working with Vatsal
Sheth? "Vatsal is a great actor.
Initially, he was shy but now he
has become very naughty," the
actress reveals.
