I haven't read the book but I have heard it was rubbish.
And the film was ok. So my vote goes to the film.

i liked the movie better ..it was a cute love story and it wasn't boring at all.. though i got bored after reading the book 😆

Havent read the book noe seen the film.. but books anyay better than films. Books has connection between author an readers' imagination bond, films only have visual bond. And one can appreacite the what brain can
see, eys cant.. even in sleep, eyes r closed but we get vivid dreams.

Also, Author has liberty to go on length what the characters r thinking.. in movies, they cant do as much what the characters r thinking. Books have no time or page limits, films have.

Herz what SLB prouced saraswatichanra butchered the oeriginal novel into pieces on star plus..

I read the book and it was okay and strictly a one-time read . But the book was definitely better than the movie unlike 3 idiots where it was 1000 times better than the book ( But 3 idiots is not fully based on 5 point someone )

I liked the book more.. Movie was good..but I had high expectations from the Aliaa and Arjun pair..which they did not live up to..Both the fathers..Ronit and Shiv Subramanium were closest to the original characters..

The only movie which I felt was better than CB's book. was Kai Po Che..Did not like 3 Mistakes at all..But the movie was fab..
