New to QH post leap

Hi

I used to watch and love QH but then stopped watching after KKG left but I heard about how there was going to be a leap and a whole new cast and Sanam (Surbhi) would still be the lead. I decided to watch a episode today and surprisingly I liked it.

I liked Sanam and that guy who was choosing assistants, Ahil I think that's his name. I remember him from KZK days and his character and his attitude seems somewhat similar to that character yet different as well.

I like that he's modern and sarcastic and different. I don't know if he's going to be the typical angry young man or not but to me he seems different to all them leads. He's more playful and stuff.

I don't really know anyone else except Dilshad of course but I'm just wondering is Ahil meant to be the male lead against Sanam and her love interest or is it that Rehaan (the guy who was with Ahil, I think that's his name?) guy and who is Rehaan btw. Is he Ahils brother? Has Ahils family been shown yet?

Sorry for all these questions. I'm just new and slightly confused but curious. Judging by just todays episode, the cast post leap seems good and Surbhi is doing such a good job. She's such a good actress which you can clearly see and I loved how many similarities yet differences there are between Zoya and Sanam and how easy they are to see.

The male lead is Karan Vir Bohra that is Ahil

. And Rehan is like his brother of something.. I don't remember.

Sanam is paired against Ahil.. But we never know.. They may make it a love triangle.

Rehan works under Ahil. Ahil is a rich businessman. The person he calls Ammi is Tanveer who seems to be in jail. and both Rehan and Ahil refer to a Begum Sahiba which also seems to be Tanveer.

Ahil and Rehan's relationship is unfolding. Till yesterday's episode it wasn't completely clear. Yesterday it was made clear. Ahil has flashbacks of beatings as a kid. Rehan goes after him and asks what's wrong. Ahil lashes out and tells him Rehan's not his brother but rather his worker. Rehan seems hurt

We see Rehan still working but maintaining a distance, and when Ahil wants to go out, Rehan declines to go with him. At which point Ahil doesn't really apologize for his words but tells Rehan that he has mood swings and not be affected by it. He gives Rehan his gold watch, which Rehan protests. Rehan goes into Ahil's car and takes off the watch, putting it into the glove department. He then remarks to himself that he's with Ahil due to Begam Sahiba for keeping tabs on Ahil.

That's the relationship between the two. I think Ahil knows that Rehan keeps tabs on him, not sure. But I think Ahil said this to Rehan once.

Ahil, as much as he likes Rehan, still really only considers him a trusted worker whom he likes well enough and can hang out with.

Rehan may be grey or may not. Either way, If he felt any other way before regarding Ahil, he's gotten a reality check and will keep his guard.
