Well observed and again creative amazes me by how they always bring such significant point...pakhi in white saree as you put it sign of purity... it has its importance as you said use ke daman mein koi daag nahin..Who will put that daag on pakhi it will be Anshuman himself ...In the promo he throws that ink on her thus putting that daag on her white saree and face as for him pakhi is not pure but characterless.. too bad this is what will be the breaking point of that relationship..this one word will pierce Pakhi's heart into pieces..

As they say the conscious mind is the part of your mind that is responsible for Logic and reasoning..conscious mind is said to be the gatekeeper for the mind..we witnessed it with Anshuman he got that pregnancy paper but he does not react negatively at first..why because its like he had something in hand to make him believe its true but his conscious mind did the reasoning that it can be a misunderstanding..

once its confirmed the pregnancy and fighting his inner turmoil next its the subconscious mind that takes over as it controls all emotions.. anxiety.. fear.. anger..etc..what will follow next will be as they say the subconscious mind is responsible for all your involuntary actions..Anshuman will listen more to that inner voice than the one with reasoning and logic..thus a destruction ahead..

Well a needed track as this will weave way to Anshuman past ... might be pakhi as an independant woman taking her life into her own hand..she has proved herself as a good mother.a wife but now she has to put her foot down and keeps her dignity intact..

April 28 - Kya yehi pyaar hai...?

We all have been asked this question: you want the good or bad news first? Exactly like that, today's episode can be divided into two parts; good and bad. Personally, I would save the best for the last but unfortunately I have no choice but to start with the good news.

Part 1 - The good news

Whenever we are in a dilemma/problem or want someone's advice we often go to our family, friends or another person who is very dear to us. Why? Because those people know us the best and their advice and help means a lot to us.

However, sometimes it is better to share your problems (or whatever it is) with a person who is a total stranger to you, like a third party. Let me explain it a bit: People who go to see a psychologist are not necessarily people who are crazy or who have lost it. If so, then they would have gone to a psychiatrist instead. People go to a psychologist to seek help. People get confused due to several situations in life, where different factors play a big role in that. They chose not to share their issues with someone from outside. These third parties can be of quite help. Obviously, because they have studied for it (the psychologist) but for others it is pure life experience. This is exactly what we saw today in the first half of the episode.

I am not saying one should not seek help from dear ones, but sometimes those people can become all of a sudden a bit too close. Kabhi kabhi, we need to involve a third party because often they make us see the problem (or whatever it is) from a different angle, with a new perspective. And that is, most of the time, a positive one.

Pichle ek hafte se we have seen a new character dimension in Anshuman. That new dimension is called love. It was so obvious for everyone, but only he had not realized it yet...till today. So what of or who made him realize his love for Paakhi? A chit chat with a stranger, a total stranger. Lekin he was not just some ordinary stranger. He was an old man, full of life experiences and most important (in this case) a man who has been together with his wife for the past 40 years, still very much in love. Anshuman could have gone to Girish or Lavanya for asking help or advice, but I don't think they could have made him realize that feeling the way the old man did...

Part 2 - The bad news

A head over heels Anshuman can't wait to express his love. Paakhi is in the same boat, she waits eagerly for him to run into his arms. Unfortunate situations do come in our lives; some are just not in our control. Theek issi tarah, a storm came into Anshuman's life and turned his life upside down. We saw him hesitating whether this Rohan is Paakhi's ex-boyfriend or not but he brushed it off his mind. Thumbs up. What follows next is even bigger than that: positive pregnancy reports. Still not believing that horrendous piece of information, he calls the doctor to check and to confirm. To his horror, he gets the confirmation and whatever happened after that is right there in front of our eyes: A highly confused Anshuman.

In full preparation Paakhi waits for him to come back and tell her those three words, she has been waiting for a very long time. In a bit filmy way, we hear her recording and some glimpses of her anklets and choodiyan. As if Anshuman was not already confused enough about his feelings, it got even worse with Paakhi's surprise' for him...

Favorite scenes/dialogues:

- Conversation between Paakhi and Lavanya: these two did had their shares of downs but now it is time for their ups (hopefully). Lavanya knows about Paakhi so called ex-boyfriend Rohan. Does this mean she will support her?

- Anshuman's realization: that happy love waala dance was childish yet very cute.

- The big shock: The confusion, the doubt, the thought, the horror was so evident on his face, it gave me goose bumps. I could feel the suffocation he went through right there at that moment.

Needless to say, this episode belonged to the one and only Iqbal Khan. His happiness was nothing in comparison to the shock he got in the second half. This man knows how to act and we got a glimpse of that yet again. Yes a glimpse, because every time we think we have seen all his acting skills he succeeds to impress us. Like I said, I got goose bumps from his expressions and that horrible news even suffocated me. Well, if someone is being able to give that feeling to a viewer by merely using his expression, then the only place for that person can be on the top. And that is exactly where he belongs (at least on my list).

We are in for some high intense drama, especially after the article of Paakhi leaving the house and a new character. Will discuss about that when the time is there.

The zor ka jhatka has been given to Anshuman. He will pass that on to Paakhi . Is that what one does in love? No one said love is the simplest feeling in the world. Lekin it is one of the most pure, honest and sincere feelings in the world. Love does not come easy; some of us must fight for it. Paakhi has been fighting it ever since she stepped into the Rathore Mansion. Now it is time for Anshuman to fight against all odds in order to discover that pure, honest and sincere feeling called love.

Kya yehi pyaar hai? Haan, pyaar yehi hoti hain. Kyunki Paakhi ke bina Anshuman ka dil lagata nahin...

First part full of child like happiness and the second part heartbroken husband. I cannot blame Anshuman here, At least after confirming from the doctor.His dilemma is well shown kudos to cvs and iqbal

I do not think one needs to ad anything more in your take but you have covered the whole episode with every details . I like Iqbal , his excitement like kid , his happiness ,where he was going to tell Pakhi how he felt . Already he had said , not directly but in beautiful dialogues . He was denying what was before his eyes when reached home , but the call with the doctor kind of put little doubt in his mind . For Anshuman this road was new to him ,falling in love and it was Business man Anshuman who took the decisions . He was not a emotional person , Pakhi introduced him to his lighter side where he was excite to open his heart .

Trust is fragile no doubt but being a business man he was not much in to trusting and Tanya being his friends of years gave him a slap in the name of trust . Pakhi,s love was unconditional and Anshuman also knew this and believed in her integrity . But sometimes a little bit doubt what was before his eyes , his trust came crumbling down where brain took the upper hand . Iqbal was brilliant , his confused eyes , in dilemma , what to trust , he just was brilliant and beauty of this was that viewers also felt his pain . It was his mother , who also clouded his thoughts at the same moment . None is closer to you then your mother .

You know the value of a person when she is away from you and Anshuman , whatever did , it was in the heat of the moment . when she is gone without giving him any explanations , will be the time he will think what he did .

Anshuman was just close to the point but destiny changed the path .

I really give credit to makers who have kept the essence of the story .

@underlined: very well said and I totally agree. The pain his mom gave him has become a void which can only be filled if he ever gets to know the real reason for that pain. I am referring to the latest article about the new character, perhaps his mom.

Words are not enough to praise this man...let us just feel Anshuman's pain through the wonderful acting of Iqbal Khan.
