Zaya Drabble: Honeymoon Days- Day 18
"Are you sure this is a good idea Zain?" Aliya asked him when he finally decided to go on the double date Rizwan invited him to yesterday."I'm not going with you until you ask me formally Zain. I'm not head over heels in love with you that I'll leave at the snap of your fingers. Propose properly and then I'll come with you," Aliya told him stubbornly, folding her arms.
As if it was a reflex, Zain went down on his knees and held out his palm and said, "Aliya Zain Abdullah, will you please go out with me on a date so that Rizwan doesn't tease me more than he usually does?"
"You!" Aliya said and started chasing Zain around the room.
Tired after ten minutes of running, they both sat down on the bed.
"So will you come?" he asked her expectantly.
"Yeah, yeah fine. Since you're begging me, I might as well agree," she told him, smirking.

"How much time do you take to get ready Aliya? Come ou-" he began when Aliya suddenly came out wearing a blue anarkali.
"Shut up Zain. Keep your comments to yourself if you want me to come," she told him and pulled him by his wrist.
They both got into the car and left for the restaurant they were supposed to meet Rizwan and his date.

"Hello Bhabhi. How are you?" Rizwan asked her, holding his arm out to shake hands.
"I'm fine Rizwan. So where's your date?" she asked him, wiggling her eyebrows and nudging him.
"She should be here soon Bhabhi," he told her, winking at Zain.
"How un-gentleman-like of you Rizwan. I would have expected it from Zain but you?" she told him, disappointment clear in her voice.
"Bhabhi, voh," Rizwan began when Zain interrupted him and said, "Is that you date Rizwan?" pointing to a girl coming in a red suit.
"Yes, yes, that's her," he said and went towards her to lead her to the table.
As they neared the table, Aliya held Zain's bicep and gripped it tight.
"ZAIN?" she asked him in a shocked tone.
"Surprised Aliya?" he whispered in her ear, smiling widely at getting the reaction he hoped for.
She suddenly hugged him and said, "Thank you, thank you, thank you Zain."
Zain was taken by surprise and was just about to hug her back when he heard someone coughing.
"Appi, I thought you were supposed to hug me but you are busy in your own romance," Ayat teased her.
"Chup Ayat. Couldn't you have informed that you were coming? Was it necessary to give me a shock?" Aliya asked her.
"Appi, Jiju called me here and told me not to tell you. He even paid for the travel and stay," Ayat told her apologetically.
"Aliya, don't you understand the concept of a surprise. What did you teach children at that tuition center of yours?" Zain asked her with a grin.
She hit him lightly while he tried to stop her while Rizwan and Ayat admired the two of them. After she was finally pacified, Aliya and Ayat started chatting while Zain and Rizwan were bored out of their minds.
