I am very disappointed with the choice of male lead...I have never heard of this actor and while his acting skill is mediocre, I cannot get around to finding him attractive. Now please understand, if you find him attractive, that's your personal choice and good for you, but he just does NOT do it for me.

I am not sure what it is about him. His eyes or his not so chiseled face, or his too high pitched - whatever it is, he is just not doing it for me. I also do not see Surbhi or him look good together.

As characters, I can see where they are trying to develop chemistry but so far nothing original. He's a jerk and she's the proud and proper young woman - it's a true and tried formula. At first I could stomach it, but not now. What really bugged me were two incidents - one where he left the young woman in the middle of nowhere - with all the rape going on in India, that did not look very smart of his character. He could have left her at a bus station, that would have at least been civil...Second, his threat to kiss Surbhi - that was gross and inappropriate. I don't care if this type of threat comes from the hottest man in the world - IT IS WRONG and definitely not appealing to me.

What I cannot fathom though is Gul's continual message of girls falling for jerks...it is as though a hot looking guy cannot have confidence, good character and a personality...

For me this jodi is just not working...nevertheless, I will give this show my support for old times sake.

Am I alone here?

I am sure there are other people like you who do not/may not like Sanam-Aahil and that's okay. You're not alone, I am sure. Every couple may not appeal to everyone. Just stop watching. Why go through a show where you dislike the male lead? Isn't it easier to just stop watching? I will never understand people. 😆

Also, I believe you have said it more than enough that you hate the male lead. Heard and acknowledged. 😆 However, it has only been two episodes with them together. Also, supporting a show where you hate the male lead is not necessary. It is better to just give up, let it go. And what is a 4-Lions show without manhandling? I believe you are new to it. I have watched three of their shows, excluding QH season 1, so we have developed thicker skin by now. 😆 And it is going the IPK-1/ Geet way, so not a fan of manhandling, leave now. 😆

Also, why isn't anybody replying to you? Guess they are bored with same old "hate the male lead" chant. LOL, J/K. Yeah, yeah. All/ most of you hate KVB, we totally get it. Like totes. 😆 He has been criticized viciously in the forum for the longest time, so we really don't care anymore. He will prove himself given the right story, and I know that for a fact. So I would prefer not to comment on the "mediocrity" of his talent. He is mediocre and that is good enough for mediocre fans like ourselves. We don't deserve Oscar winners. 😔

Just kidding. Don't take me seriously. But I would still advice you to just stop watching. Will be better for your mental peace, no?

Best reply!👏👍🏼...I saw this post by the TM, I went..😳...To the TM, no offense but you have been pretty much saying this in all your replies to the other posts..why make a new post when you have got you message across?..and if few viewers stop watching this show won't go down the drain..so no thanks, please stop watching it...and enjoy your life..instead of just hating on the lead actor again and again by making posts like this..

hi laila, nice to see you around after such a long time. you dont like the character of aahil which is ok. but do not dismiss his talent or acting skills. hang on some more and he will surprise you. i do not watch the show anymore, but kvb is an actor worth watching.

Sorry, no offence but this is really getting on my nerves now! 🥱 If ist not working for you, then its okay, share ur views thats also okay, but voicing the same thing again and again, even after having the discussion solved, not really working for ME.🥱

You don't like the character, thats fine, it gets time to get used to with something, specially if you are an ardent fan of AsYa. I can understand that feeling, and i ma feeling this is that feeling only talking. Try and give some time to new characters, if it still doesn't works for you - well you have a remote and switch off button to with a B 😆

As for the character, of Aahil, he may seem rude, arrogant, aggressive, unrespectful, mean, "dont-give-a-damn" guy, but there has always - yes always been characters like this, male characters. And they just need to grow on you. And trust me, these guys are only in fiction.

Fiction - you need to understand this, its fiction, not reality, fiction has all the ways to explore imaginations, your fantasies, and who doesn't like that? These are those forbiddden things which you don't get them in reality (unfortunately😉😆) Layers - thats what these characters have, and are revealed slowly, you just need to give time as these characters are not what they are shown, never! 😳

Now coming to the actor- KVB. He is one classy actor in Indian Tv industry, who has always given some path breaking roles. Whether it be the - spoilt brat Yudi of KZK (a piece of advise - You. Should. Watch. Him.) Or be the obsessive psycho Viraj Dobriyal - where do you find in this industry any actor taking up this kind of role? The ones you only fid=nd in english novels, that ruggedness, rawness, edgy, volatile things in the male lead. The most amazing part is how he performs these roles with so much class, any other actor would not even dare to i bet!

For the chemistry between the leads - well its been one hell of a hot, totally combustible, exploding, pot boiling, thrilling, exciting, first clash of them - as for me its their eyes which got me more intrigued, Man! Their eyes, god! Thats what you call chemistry!

I am soo soo lokking forward for this jodi - KVB has never failed me, he marks his every role he plays, And for Surbhi, she is one really fine actress i have seen! Together they are gonna be the next big thing.

Wait, and give it a try. 😊
