Here's the interview.. it's not the one i was thinking of but it's regarding Siriu's death.

Look for the parts about Sirius and you can see that she really says that she killed him.. something kind of finalising that he isn't coming back...

Sirius Black is dead. (how much ever I hate to say this but its true.) JKR actually did confirm it.

The above quote is from the interview with Jeremy Paxman on Newsnight on the launch of the OotP book. you can read the full interview here. Please note that this interview was done just after the release of OotP hence the charecter who will die is not named but it is very evident.

black cant be fully termed as dead ...

the room with the curtain in the department of mysteries is called "death chamber." let us assume that the curtain separates this world to the world of dead and acts as a gateway . when someone dies, his soul leaves the body here and moves to that particular world . but serious , not hit by a killing curse ( a red curse ) moved to that world of dead through that curtain with his soul still in his body . so it may be possible that he might be alive at there.

in GOF , harry got some help from the people beyond the world of deads , when his parents appeared in some form , serius who always felt responsible for harry and tried to help him, might also try and help harry again in some way from wherever he is now .

also another thing is, the Deathly hallows children's cover of US edition . the scene shows clearly a room and some stone chairs that also looks like steps around harry and voldemort which also happens to be circular . to me , this looks like that chamber of death , and smells like serius appearing again ! .... or even dumbledore

Sirius Black is one of my favourite characters in the entire series but
I think Sirius IS DEAD
coz Luna mentioned sth about the hearing voices from over the veil and at the end of OoTP she said to Harry that she can still speak to her mother

Though I strongly believe he WILL reappear in another form

ok all of you know that here i am going to say that Black is alive. but not without reason yaar!

BEcause as i always state as a bottonmline - SIRIUS BLACK-ALIVE UNTIL PROVEN DEAD

ok a few pointes here to be noted :

1. first and foremost.. JKR has NOT confirmed his death to date. And i have seen the mugglenet interview and will try to get it for you but the point is that she has said that DUMBLEDORE is dead for sure but she will not speak about sirius black

2. second she has also mentioned that we will be seeing the return of one charector. I have gone through this a lot and the only one i can come up with by the process of elimination are the Potters and Sirius and its most likely to be sirius cos she still has to prove his death!

3. Well sirius black plays a vital role and its obvious. His "Death" (im still gonna say it within air quotes [-( ) is gonna b something vital to show us all something and JKR had better have a good reason for his "death".. if he is "dead" as some people say he is...

4. we have not seen his dead body and neither do we have 100% proof that he is dead!!!!!!!!

5. Remember luna said at the end of OoP that the people behind the curtain are there and the voices are heard... well JKR has said in an interview that there are clues all over her book and in another interview that Luna's and Ron's words have an unbelievable knack of actually coming true...

6. Sirius is one person harry loves other than his parents and he has the power of love on his side other than voldemort so in that case sirius will have to be back for his power of love to take shape against voldy!!!!

7. Well last but not the least... such a hot guy cannot die so easily without proof or reason.. mainly cos i wont let him 😆😆

i kno im late for this topic forgib me 😆 well i totally agree with yshs byline..sirius is so alive until proven dead 😡

we have enough number of evidences regarding his non-death so i neednt really go into them now as theyve already been mentioned 😳

even if he doesnt cum back alive..........to be really honest i donno whether jkr will bring him back alive when she says a character will be brought back it might also mean that someone dies n resurrects in the same book[anyone seen mummy 2 😉]

but still im convinced hell b back in some form 😳
