Here the story is different with Shaurya being a complete negative character. Being a playboy...that might be acceptable to some extend but he is shown to be a rapist and honestly I would quit the series if Durga falls for him. It's a revenge series and it should be kept to that. While both Daniel and Shaurya are being used by the determined Emily and Durga, Durga's stand against Shaurya is more fierce and I would want her to destroy him completely. We women aren't some orifice for men to stick their shit in!

I stopped watching it way before the shooting incident happened! Sometime around when he started goin' out with that Brit Ashley - they made his character somewhat unbelievable right then - you could see the grey shades of his character emerging. Jack-Emily didn't have the chemistry to make them a nice couple. Daniel-Emily, on the other hand, both in real and reel life, have swoonworthy chemistry! Josh's real Brit accent is to die for - couple it with that hot face, and I swear I need a pitcher of water whenever I see his interviews!

Shaurya should be punished if he's done the crime. The whole mentality in our country, especially, the Mulayam singh Yadav style, raped women should be hanged, has to change! The show could be powerful medium for that - I wish they do that. The TRPs aren't great, so I'm hoping the creators stick to their line of "we have already written an year of the show" and don't run after stupid kitchen politics!

Yeah, India could use as much help as could be provided to get rid of the sick mentality. Wore a skirt in Delhi, a guy came up to me and said "Aur phir rape hota hai toh rote hain." Slapped him hard, right there. Never felt better! XD

I so loved Daniel in Revenge esp in season 1 ❤️ I still dont get the hullaboo over Emily Jack being shipped as a couple 😆 I do like Jack, he is a golden hearted boy 😳 I would have wanted Emily to fall for Daniel but ... I guess no point talking abt it now. But Daniel changed a lot in season 2 n I am yet to catch season 3.

The one major difference is the characterisation of Daniel. Daniel isn't a major protagonist but here Shaurya is the main antagonist who is being protected by his family.

Also Dayal is Durga's dad n he is Nolan's counterpart here. I loved Nolan too. Waiting to see how will Dayal's character be shaped.

Itz good that u strtd ds topic bcz Josh and Emily are dating in real life, and hav exceptional chemistry, yet the story dsnt deman dem to b tgthr, so dey r not tgthr. I hope the mkrs of EHT keep ds in mind and NEVER pair up Shaurya and Durga even if dey show chemistry.

Daniel did change n it was wrong that he did not come clean about David Clarke when he got the chance but can one really blame him? He took that decision to shield his family something which most of us would do in realistic scenario. If one truth will shatter ur family and destroy everything u have, u will do everything in ur power to protect ur family coz to see justice being served to one person, u wont jeopardize the lives of ur other family members who are innocent though that guilt would eat u later on.

I can see Daniel changed in season 2 n I havent watched season 3 but like u said he is anytime better than Shaurya.
