Seeing as to how everyone is repeating that the show is based on "Revenge", I thought I'd point out the differences between the two male characters - who are apparently playing each other.

The major point being - Daniel wasn't evil. He was this pawn in the game Emily played to defeat his mother. Personally speaking, I wanted Emily to just actually fall for him instead of using him...the makers probably wanted the male positive lead to be Jack, hence the whole negativity. Left watching the show after the whole fiasco. (P.S. I find him the hottest character on the show!)

Shaurya, on the other hand, is shown to be evil in general. Not just the playboy ways, which is not that bad in itself, but even his blase attitude about the rape (as it is being depicted right now.)

Although I would love the show to be only about revenge and not have any love stories in the middle, it would be the worst case if Durga fell for him at some point of time - unlike Daniel, who could have been the perfect restart for Emily.

Would love to know your feelings about Daniel vs Shaurya!

I don't want Durga to fall for Shaurya but i do want Shaurya to fall for her. And I haven't watched Revenge so no comments about that

daneil genuvally had feeliings for emily.

unlike shaurya
who want durga for a bet.

may be he change
for now daniel

havent watch daneil but i find him like one of those guy who dont know the real face of their loved ones and they get used and act negativily and when the true face is exposed infront of them they change.

Here shaurya ;his mother are very suportive of each other in their crimes
;he has learned lesson to use and throw .They are like partners in crimes

would never want to see durga falling for him
she can make him fall for her;crazy but she shoudnt fall for him.

Daniel and Shaurya had very similar backgrounds and family support. Yet, Daniel grew up with much better morals. See, the main difference between the two shows is one is about avenging someone's life taken by the male lead's parents and the other is revenge for a crime, specifically rape-committed by the male lead. That in itself makes Daniel better than Shaurya. But Daniel, later on, proved that he's a Grayson by growing similar to his scheming parents, but even that doesn't make him any worse than Shaurya, in my opinion.
Personally, I never supported Daniel-Emily OR Jack-Emily(as lovers).

Itz good that u strtd ds topic bcz Josh and Emily are dating in real life, and hav exceptional chemistry, yet the story dsnt deman dem to b tgthr, so dey r not tgthr. I hope the mkrs of EHT keep ds in mind and NEVER pair up Shaurya and Durga even if dey show chemistry.

I had always loved Daniel. It used to hurt me to no end that Emily had been using him all along. Though I liked Emily and Jack's friendship I undoubtedly touted for Emily and Daniel to end up somehow. Also Daniel wasn't negative; he was mercilessly dragged into a game that wasn't his to play. And then the makers threw a complete different ball by making him go negative. The day he shot Emily was my final goodbye to Revenge. And yes even I find him too hot!!

Here the story is different with Shaurya being a complete negative character. Being a playboy...that might be acceptable to some extend but he is shown to be a rapist and honestly I would quit the series if Durga falls for him. It's a revenge series and it should be kept to that. While both Daniel and Shaurya are being used by the determined Emily and Durga, Durga's stand against Shaurya is more fierce and I would want her to destroy him completely. We women aren't some orifice for men to stick their shit in!

Shaurya is different from Daniel.

Here Shaurya is one of the big bads, while in Revenge he was just a pawn for EMily to reach her goal.

Daniel had genuine sweetness about him in the first season.

Shaurya oozes self confidence and charm- a total ladies man😊

It would be great to see Shaurya fall in love with Durga, even if he is the rapist, but the converse would not be as exciting.

As they say, some crimes are beyond repair, so forgiveness should not come easy to him and he should know the importance of feelings and self-respect. I repeated this in numerous posts of mine and would say it yet again that I would really like to see him serve his sentence in jail, hence giving out a decent message for the viewers!
