PERSONAL LIFE
Varun Dhawan was born on 24 April 1987[1] in Mumbai to film director David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan. He is the younger brother of director Rohit Dhawan, who made his directorial debut with the 2011 film, Desi Boyz. He is also the nephew of actor Anil Dhawan and is the cousin of actor Siddharth Dhawan. He has a degree in Business Management from the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.
BIOGRAPHY
The good looking stud has assisted various directors before stepping in front of the camera. He also assisted Karan Johar for the film My Name Is Khan and then was introduced in Karan Johar's movie Student of the Year. Jr. Dhawan always wanted to become a wrestler when he was young and is a great fan of wrestler turned actor Rock.
He has won the best debutant(male) award at the 19th Lion's Gold Awards (2013). Varun was an average student throughout his studies. He secured 82% in 10th standard all beacuse of his mom's hardwork and which shocked his father and he thought of making him a doctor or engineer. Varun was called Pappu by his father when he was small and is very close to his brother so he is bhaiyya's boy.
