Mumbai: The 16th Lok Sabha elections are underway and actresses like Jennifer Winget and Deepika Singh sat that once the new government comes to power, it should work towards education for all, security for women and eradication of child labour.
Here is what they have to say:
Jennifer Winget (Kumud from 'Saraswatichandra'): Education is the country's greatest leveler and its redemption. It's the best investment we can make in our youth and future. So, it's obvious that the priority of the next government should be to increase the literacy rate so that youth can afford a better standard of living. A lot of students from small towns have to shed the comforts of their homes to seek quality education outside... I believe whichever government comes to power, ensuring access to good quality education across the country should be its primary agenda.
